Vets I could use some guidance. I’m interested in knowing where your comfort level with hct is before donation? Assuming platelets are in range.

Some labs say 50, some 54. I don’t think I would be comfortable over 53. Am I crazy for letting mine stay around 52 when platelets are under 400k?

I’m wanting to wait due to ferritin levels getting crushed by donation.

Any insight is appreciated[emoji109]

I have never looked at any levels of anything really. On cycle I just try to donate every 6-8 weeks.
