Have you ever been airborne in a car?

I've just driven over hills going too fast and gotten air. I haven't done any "Toonces" driving off cliff incidents like you guys seem to have.

There used to be a road just outside my home town that was very very hilly. This 5 mile section got the nickname "Rollercoaster Road". Several years back they redid it and smoothed it out due to the number of accidents. I never got to drive a car on it, but my popps would take me and my brother on it all the time. He has a 1972 Nova SS that is all suped up and shit. He would take that road at around 120mph and we would catch air over every hill top. It was awesome. My mother would always get so pissed once she found out what we were doing.

There is still a road like this near me that has never been fixed. You can go airborne 3 or 4 times down a 1-2 mile stretch, gotta do it in a beater.

I havent done it anytime lately. Shen I was younger, I almost died on that road. I got up enough speed to lift off over one of the hills and while in mid-air (no brakes), see a SUV coming right for me. I landed about 10 yds in front of it, jerked the wheel, locked the brakes, and literally hundredths of a second before both front drivers fenders collided, my car hit a patch of gravel and juked like Barry Sanders. No impact, my friend and I came sliding to a stop on this country ass road scared as shit. Talk about an adrenaline rush...

yeah, i kind of hit a gutter at speed once, managed to smash my head on the roof and then my arse when i landed

Best was when I was in the back of a truck, smacked my head durring landing. I was drunk so I didn't care tell I woke up and couldn't open my right eye. ouch

i flipped my moms toyota tercel in highshcool. i use to love hauling ass backwards and hitting the brakes while spinning the steering wheel. complete 180 and then throw it in drive and go forward.

one time i got carried away and on the spin i hit the street curb. i flipped over into someones yard. we landed on the side. me and my buddy in the front seat were climbing out the passenger door in a panic. we were already out about the time my other buddy in the backseat barely getting out holding his bag of jack in the box food. bastard didnt want to drop it.

we got out and rocked the car several times until it flipped back on its wheels. got in and drove off.

Many times, went up on two wheels too, didnt flip. Had a Karmann Ghia with the engine in the back so I used to do french turns in it, saw a couple girls and pulled around to talk to them. Was going to fast and try to swing the endaround and up we went, pulled the wheel to the right and rode it for a brief second. Heartpounder.

about 3 times, I used to take my truck to the beach and haul ass and jump little dunes, then once I jumped a rail road hump, then in the truck , lost control on black ice and had to have flown over 10 feet!!
