Good Breakfast Or Not?

Hey people! I am looking to drop about 25 pounds and I was wondering if the following breakfast is a good one for protein?

By the way, take note that I am a vegetarian (do not eat beef, meat, fish, chicken, or whole eggs - and by whole eggs, I don't mean eggs that you find in a cookie or cake).

I do not drink protein shakes and never will, sorry. But, my dad once overdosed on them and it damaged his body so I am not taking any drinks or supplements. All my protein is from food/drinks.

Anyway, here is my breakfast (I don't each much because I am never hungry in the morning - if I force food down my throat, then I end of puking it out):

2 bars of Natural Valley Granola Bars
1 cup of 1% milk

About 20-30 minutes after this, I go for a bike ride outside (do some cardio, get my metabolism going, and most importantly, get some morning fresh air).

So, what do you guys think of my morning breakfast/workout?

many chickens lost their lives for the cake you're eating

I don't know your exact reasons for being a vegetarian, but milk is one of the worst animal products for your body...............lots of steroids & antibiotics...

I bet that br8fast tastes good but doesn't seem to be filling enough or nutritious enough; try some fruit and or peppers

If your vegetarian, I recommend just eat oatbran (100 grams) and 1 glass of milk (skim) for breakfast. Oatmeal is much lower in protein and higher in carbs, so for a vegetarian, running low on protein sources, oat bran which tastes the same is the better choice. It's also higher in fiber, so the GI is likely to be lower

About 400 calories, with 28 grams of protein (milk and grains are complementary proteins).
