gaining weight

I need some help. In the past when ive tried to gain weight by eating a lot I always end up with a gut. Now that ive been running Ive cut back my gut a little. I want to start eating a lot again and hope to get to my 200lb body weight goal by my birthday (july 15). If I eat a lot and still did cardio 2 to 3 times a week will that keep my gut away? My body weight now is 180lb

Answer these questions you should have already asked yourself.
How many calories are you eating each day?
How many calories are you burning with cardio a day?
What percent of your calories come from protein? carbs? fat?
 
cardio is NOT a good long term solution for fat loss. You have to find that fine balance for calorie intake to optimize muscle growth without overeating and getting fat.
 
cut back on all that cardio,eat as clean as possible,you would be surprised how a clean diet can make you look.sticck you your potatoes,plain oatmeal,yams,for your carbs.you can gain weight without a big gut,eat alot but alot of the good foods,it will minimize adding fat.........................
