I hear it way too often. And old timer says he just took a few dianabol and all the "experts" on message boards say "No way! They're Lying! Nobody builds that much muscle without juicing to the gills!"
Hey, I've spoken to pros who've told me everything over a gram is a waste. And these guys are 280 pounds. There was no reason for them to lie. They were pretty honest and told me shit off the record that was pretty revealing. Craig Titus admitted using 2 grams a week just in case that extra 1000mgs put on another ounce of muscle. Meanwhile, I hear guys who weight 170 doing their second cycle using750, 800, and more. And people telling them to up the dosage!!!
For the millionth time...gear will only do so much. I'd say 90% of the people who juice USE TOO MUCH -- or at least, more than they need.
Check it out...a picture of Sandow. This is the 1920's. Steroids weren't invented yet. Does anyone want to claim muscularity like that can't be built naturally? Imagine if he took just 500 mgs of test a week! Hell, imagine if he had access modern day supplements! Hell, they didn't even invent the bench press yet!
GENETICS< GENETICS< GENETIC< GENETICS.
Now you can say Sandow was one in a billion. Well, so are the contestants for the Mr. Olympia contest. The reson there are so many more today is that so many more people are into bodybuilding. NOBODY lifted weights in the 1920's. There could have been lots of guys with as much potential as Sandow -- maybe more.
Keep it in mind. You never know what you're capable of. And if you can only grow so much muscle, gear will only add so much more. Be realistic. And make the most of your natural potential. Learn to train. Learn to use supplements. You might be surprised. In fact, I'm sure you will.
