foot position on leg press

New member
Started my "new" routine for legs tonight. I did the 5x5 routine on squats and 2 sets of 10 on leg press.

Now I'm wondering a couple of things.


1. What kind of foot position should I have on leg press? I've always used a wide stance just 'cause it's the most comfortable.

2. Should I have the back of the seat all the way up or down?

What do you guys think?

I agree, use whatever is more comfortable and natural for you. At the end of the day, i really think it makes 3/5 of fuck all difference where you place your feet, so go with what feels right.
 
Wider Stance may work the Hams and Glutes more than a Narrow foot position.

For me I have the back is set pretty low so I can get the most leverage. Almost flat in fact if possible

Feet are wider than hips and about 3/4 to the top of the platform.

Don't lock out the knees
Be comfortable
