Elliptical machines

i am going to be buying an elliptical machine for myself and my girlfriend and figured you women must own at least a few different models between all of you here. I do not really want to spen over 1000 dollars and am considering either nordic track of pro form. but anything else i am open minded too. could you please post you results with some you have used.

I tried the Nordic track in their store last year and I loved it - very easy on the knees.

At the time it was 900ish - I think it has dropped to the mid-high 7's. I don't remember the model # off the top of my head but if was the 2nd or 3rd model from the top.

I would have bought it but before I ordered it I had mulled it over for a while and in the meantime I managed to get an ok one (for free) from a client that was getting rid of his old equipment.

It's a cheapola machine - but it was FREE and it does what I need for now.

I wouldn't buy one - I'd go back to the Nordic track if I had to buy something.
