Egg white as protein source

New member
I have this problem with whey protein that it is too heavy for my stomach. I am using Isopure.
After experimenting, I found that egg white (in carton) is very light.
I take the whole carton (2 cups - 50 gm protein) and mix it one scoop of whey (25 gm).
Any critique of my protein?

great answer bro..

50 grams is enough for a serving. the eggs whites is enouhg, no need to add the extra whey imo

no expert here but 75 gm of protein per serving sounds wasteful, anything more than your body can utilize and its flushing $ down the drain...

I just throw 5 eggs in a glass (30 gm protein) + 1 scoop whey (25 gm protein) 8 oz of apple juice and 1 cup of oatmeal for a meal on the go thats affordable!

I try to spread my nutrtional intake throughout the day so theres always fuel to build with...

It is the only kind of protein I use now. I dont take in milk products anymore. I think its great, just makes me a bit farty.

The cheapest I have found is here...

Egg yolk has the highest amount of cholestrol in it than any other food.
One egg supplies you one whole days requirement of cholestrol.
I hope you are not using whole eggs.
Protein is not flushed down the drain.
Worst case scenario, body will burn it for calories, or convert it into glucose.
I doubt it that body cannot hold 100 gm of protein for a few hours.

yea works great and tastes good if you're lucky. But i do not recommend you try to drink milk or any whey protein mixed in milk with eggs, makes me puke gives a strange feeling in my stomach each time

There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating large amounts of cholesterol. Cholesterol from food has a negligible effect upon the cholesterol in your body. Large quantities of saturated fat, on the other hand, can increase cholesterol levels. Cholesterol itself can only remain in your body if it can bind to saturated fat (it cannot bind to monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fats).

I've been eating 5 whole eggs a day for years, and my cholesterol is perfectly fine.

If you want to know a killer protein source that rapes the best on the market, look into pharmaceutical grade products. PM me and I'll let you know what to look for. There are several brands, at varying prices, but if you know an RD or a rep for Ross or Novartis, you can attain these products and often get samples for free. I can connect you with reps if you want.

Peace,

Conan

PS ~~ Egg white protein is great for cutting. Take a good look at fish, as well. Nothing, however, compares with amino acids designed to help in wound healing (pressure sores, burns, etc). In fact, some of these products alone can parallell AS Rx. Mixed with a cycle you won't believe the results you get!

I'll be posting periodically. Anyone wishing to PM me can do so. I'm here to help you all reach your fitness and athletic goals.
