I read online that water is your number one friend while weight training, and remaining well hydrated is crucial.
Through experience and word of mouth, I know that alcohol dehydrates the body.
So here's what I'm wondering: What are the effects of drinking alcohol before, during, or after a work out? (I've never heard of anyone drinking during a work out, that's just stupid.)
On a side note, I've been weight training for the past 2-3 months, and I'm loving every moment of it. I found this forum while searching for information online about training, and what I should/shouldn't be doing. This seems like a very busy forum, with lots of valuable input and answers. I hope to learn a lot here, and maybe when I learn more myself answer some questions as well.
