Easy carry around foods

Ok I know there is no quick fix to diet, But I am having a hard time being able to get in some quality protein. How much natural peanut butter is too much? Does anyone have some reccomendations for some easy carry around food that does not take long to prepare or maybee not even need to be cooked or heated? I am ok with the Oatmeal in the morning and then getting in a decent lunch and supper it is those other 3-4 small meals a day I am having trouble finding time to prepare.

I need something that I can eat as I drive from work to school, to the gym then to the football practice all as I do homework and dress the little ones in the car. :mix:

HELP

whey protein? I have a blender on my desk here. I have decanted some of my 6lb whey protein tub into a smaller container and I mix myself some when I want it.

cooked tofu burgers? or cooked cold beefburgers made with lean mince home-made? in a pita bun?

Tuna pouches are great. I think Starkist makes them. I usually put the tuna in a whole wheat pita for lunch and eat it straight from the can (or pouch) the rest of the day.

Natural PB is great for "good" fats, but it has a lot of calories, and it's quite delicious, so watch how much of it you are eating.

:)

Thanks, I will try some of the suggestions, I probable have too much natty peanut butter. It is just so convient. I usually have a sandwich on whole weat (yea it has 5g of fiber per slice) for lunch.
with some kind of veggie. It is usually not more than 4-tbs per day though. Do you think this is too much?

Yea, It is It took a while to get a taste for the stuff but now I love it. And I do some kind of workout every evening so thats good. Its either weights and cardio or just cardio or on leg day just weights.

Spatts have you tried the chicken in the can like the tuna? I read in one of the bb magazines that it was great for protein and it tasted great so I tried It. Personally I thought it was awful. I will stick with my tuna in the can over the chicken anyday.

I make "sandwiches" with my lowcarb tortillas (latortillafactory.com) and turkey or chicken breast. I also grill chicken and london broil every weekend; slice it up and carry it cold with me in a cooler.
