The subject was for attention... now for the question:

What 2 muscle groups are good to pair up?
ex: chest and shoulders on the same day... etc.

personally i pair the following:
chest/calves
legs/bi's
back/traps
shoulder/tri's
(Sometimes I do back/tri's shoulders/traps- depends on my mood)

My split is-

chest and calves
back anb bi's
shoulders and traps and tri's

I'll change it up every 2 months.

depends on what your goals are and how much time you have to spend in the gym..... try this

day 1 - chest/bis
day 2 - ab's/calves/forearms
day 3 - back/tris
day 4 - off
day 5 - shoulders/traps
day 6 - quads/hams
day 7 - abs/cardio

Ive experimented with many, and ive found i like to keep the major bodyparts ALONE in a day for themselves.

chest/legs/arms/back/shoulders n traps

I love this routine. Let s me focus - and i do not overtrain.

i go...

upperbody
off
lowerbody
off
upperbody
off
off
lowerbody
off
upperbody
off
lowebody
off
off

etc and so on.

the 5 day thing was cool for a while but i wasted too much time in the gym. now ive got it down to working weight and go, working weight and go. no f'ing around with pyramids, warming up excessively, pumping up or "hitting it from all angles".

I go with:

Day 1- Chest and Bi's
Day 2- Legs
Day 3- Off
Day 4- Shoulders and Traps
Day 5- Back and Tri's
Day 6- Off
Day 7- Off

I like:

Day 1: chest (heavy)
Day 2: legs
Day 3: off
Day 4: shoulders,bi's & 3 sets Light bench
Day 5: back,tri's
Day 6&7: off

I do:
Day 1: Legs
Day 2: Chest / triceps
Day 3: Off
Day 4: Back
Day 5: Off
Day 6: Shoulders / Biceps

BTW how many sets do you advice for Bis and tris ?
Thanks
