Does this happen to you?

Growth hormone spurts. Your body releases growth hormone in response to exercise... and sleep. GH makes you nauseous. What you are describing is you getting the GH to grow... unfortunately it makes you feel like puking.

I also felt like this when I took creatine post workout.

Now I hope that it was the GH release that Sofa has pointed out.

Maybe you're not going into your workout with enough "fuel?" The nausea makes me wonder about your blood sugar.

Doh, because I workout first thing in the morning before work I don't ever get to eat before weekday workouts. I get up at 5:45 am to workout and I can't imagine getting up any earlier just to eat. :(

But I never feel nausea afterwards. If anything, I guess I just don't left quite as much as I would otherwise, so weekends are for PRs.

i often have trouble falling asleep on a night that I squatted simply because my body hurts.....

I usually like to take some ZMA and once I do fall sleep, I rest like a dead log.....

As long as I grow ;). I'll take a break next week in case its over-reaching...plus I gotta study for exams anyway. My last break was 4 weeks ago.
