but im concerned that 3 days no carbs is too few- u dont properly get into fat burning until the second day.

the reason i dont like to wait too long before carbing up is cos im concerned about catabolism and im still lifting, so i dont want to undermine my gains by not getting aminos and insulins boosts into muscles

True - However, Lotta pro's run this diet and still gain. I have been on CKD 5 weeks now (one day a week carb up). The more fat I haver lost, the easier and faster I seem to go into ketosis.

You gotta decide your goals - you can bulk and cut later, or lean bulk. It makes more sense to do the first i think but I wanna cut so Im under 9% for my next cycle.
