Do I need a Carbup? 'Karma'

I have been eating only about 120 carbs a day, and that is only 50g of dextrose PW shake, and about 60g of carbs from sweet potato, for my PW meal, taken with two glucorell R s. I was wondering if this would be enough carbs to keep my muscle Glycogen stores filled. If not, how much should i up, my dailly intake of carbs.

Also, if eating this many carbs, will i need a carbup, every few days to keep my metabolism up. I have been on this diet for about 20 days, and i still havent had a carbup.

I am 175, 11%bf, and am currently taking 40mg of var a day. Cycleing Clen, and ECA, every week. I was thinking about going on a higher carb diet for a week, to throw my body off balance, and maybe gain a little extra muscle.

I am trying to put on small ammount of quality muscle while cutting.

My diet is about 300-350p 60-80f, and the carbs i eat after my workouts.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If ur not in ketosis , which on 150 grams your not, you dont need a carb up , but since you have been on this diet for 20 days i would definately eat more carbs for a few days straight plus more calories to keep ur metabolism going fast..........

I think you're probably fine but if you want to take a day or 2 and change things up I would lower your protein to 180 grams and increase your carbs to around 250.

Really dude, with that much protein your probably seeing hella mad protein synthesis. Most of that protein is probably either getting spilled out, or converted to glycogen. Usually 1gram of protein per pound of body weight is all you need.

I agree that is excessive with the protein.

How is your energy in the gym? Use your workout intensity to gauge if you need a carb up or not.

Try an experiment, like carb up one day this weekend, then see if your workout improves next week. If it doesn't, then the carb up wasen't needed. And vice versa.

Im going to switch to the 200p 300c for 4 days, and then go back to my original diet.

Do you really think that the protien is too much? I am taking 40mg of Anavar ED. My workouts are still good, but do you think i should lower protien and increase fat?

I am trying to gain muscle while cutting. I know this sounds impossible, but i have heard that it is possible with simmilar diets. If anyone has achieved this, please let me know how you did it.

try decreasing your protein to around 100 -1500 grams. Add the missing calories to your carbs for a few days. After that up your protein to around 200 grams and use a small carb increase. Having as much protein as you are ingesting is too much. Too much protein is not a good practice

I cannot tell if I am gaining any muscle because i am up in weight but have less bodyfat. This is probably due to the creatine though, so i dont really know whats going on. I dont think that it is possible to gain much muscle while eating under maintainence with close to no carbs. Im going to be eating a small ammount of good carbs with each meal, to keep my body anabolic. How many carbs do you guys suggest? I was thinking of keeping my meals to about 30-50p, 15-30 carbs and about 10 fat. I will be eating above maintainence, at about 3000 calories. I am going to rely on low intensity cardio, mornings on an empty stomach, and 20 minutes following my workouts. What do you guys think of this.

How many Carbs do i need to keep my body anabolic (absorbative state), with each meal? I want to have a baseline ammount of insulin in my body the whole day to stimulate muscle growth, but not enough to store fat.
