Do I have an infection ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

The pain is subsiding, but by now I know that the pain and the redness aren't related. The day I came from the hospital I shot my other glute 1ml of fina from a different vial, again absolutly no pain during injection, but exactly the same pain 48 hours afterwards only without the redness. This makes me believe that the right glute did have an infection which the penicillin helped with (REDNESS), but the pain itself is something else. I also did a shot in my quad 2 days ago and I can barely walk (terrible agony) but no redness. If the pain was due to the BA content it should have hurt straight from the injection or soon after, I already remember BA pain from several years ago doing homebrew fina. Right now the pain is in both of my glutes (but the one that was 'treated' has almost completely faded away), and my quad. Similar to severe DOMs in that it comes 24 hours afterwards and increases (only much more painful that regular doms) I have to shot another ml today, I do EOD Fina inj, but I'm not going to do it today as I'm already crippled, can't even imagine doing it in my delt, I won't be able to train upper body at all.

If it's the same pain, more or less, then your reaction in your right glute could have been different as a result of how deep you shot, whether you passed through a vein, etc. Honestly dude, I think if it was an infection, you wouldn't have been on here asking us what the hell was going on, you would have KNOWN it was an infection. I could of course have been wrong but I betcha if you shot the shit in your delt, you would get extreme swelling and redness and be in brtual pain for a good week, and the swelling would spread because of gravity, but it wouldn't be an infection. Obviously, I'm not you and could be wrong but it's odd that the pain and redness would not leave together in the event of an infection but I'm far from an expert on the subject. In the situation I described in my post above, the redness left before the pain and swelling, and I remember the pain left before all the swelling was gone as well, though the swelling was extreme. The whole fucking thing made me want to cry. Hold me.

sounds more like inflammation than infection, but i'm no expert. i had the same thing happen to me when i did my first shot of test en. my delt was swolen and red, and hurt like a bitch. but it passed eventually. as i continued, the reaction became less and less pronounced. anyway, it sounds like inflammation from the BA.
