Do I have an infection ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey bro, for what its worth I wouldn't wait it out. A friend of a friend tried 'waiting it out' once and he wound up having some sort of an allergic reaction to the bacteria in his body. On top of swelling in the face, hands and feet (to the point to where he couldn't see), the doctor had to lance and drain the depot site on his ass, which left a permenant crater about the size of a quarter on his ass. I've seen it and it aint pretty.

Had a similar infection once, the best stuff to use is CIPRO. Super strong antibiotic that whips just about everthing. They gave it to the anthrax patients after 9/11, but my doctor prescribed it to me in case of food poisoning prior to a vacation to Mexico. I used it for a similar infection as what you have once before, 1500mg day one and then 500mg/day for ~3days thereafter. Really kicks the infection in the ass. I make it a point to keep some on hand for just this type of occasion.

Hope this helps dude, good luck and get some Cipro.

Thanks bro, Cipro is Hydrocortisone it is similar to Corisol, super catabolic.

Help me out here...that sorta defeats your purpose, right?

Maybe there's an antibiotic that is less harsh muscle-tissue wise yet just as effective against an infection abscess. Of course health comes first, but wouldn't hurt to know if there are other options. I'm still trying to find a private doc, going to the ER leaves a medical record which I would like to avoid if possible, even if it's just a B12 story to them.

Don't blame you for avoiding an ER visit. Just complicates things. I see what you mean about Cipro, but I guess it just depends on just how bad off you are. In my case, my ass was SWOLE, hot, red and I would've drank piss if I thought it would take away the pain and discomfort. Truth is, I'm sure you know more about this stuff than myself and you know what kind of condition your in. Best of luck, I hope that stuff clears up soon.

Mavy, my fina wasn't homebrewed, it was UG lab. And I'm sick when it comes to sterility, but something went wrong this time I guess. Mavy was your pain and redness radius extended beyond the injection site? I feel the pain even in my internal upper gluteus while I always show the outside upper corner. What topical antibiotic did you use?

Yep, my pain and redness was about 2 inch radius of redness around the injections site.

The topical antibiotic I used was Ozonol. Its just an OTC pharmacy product. Its mean more to keep things clean for cuts, and burns, and deep puncture wounds. If the infection is deep withing the muscle, Im pretty sure this wont do to much for it. I am not really sure what mine was, becuase it went away complelety in about 3 days. I hit the same spot a week later with the same gear, and no problems. Some kinda reaction I guess. If it does not look like it is going down, I would go see a doc. If you have access to pharm meds, maybe a doc like DrJmw will pipe in and tell you what to use and for how long. I dont see a problem telling the doc what happened. If I had an infection, I wouldnt hesitate. You dont want that shit to start spreading throughout the rest of your body!

Good Luck,
Mavy

thanks bigbair and mavy, yeah i have complete access to all meds I want, but the pharmacy is about to close in about 2-3 hours anyway. As bigbair bro told, I would like to avoid the ER as much as I can, but I wouldn't want that shit to spread, doesn't worth it. still trying to find a fukin private doc, someone suggested i need a surgeon to see it. a family doctor is worth shit. After reading that horror storie(s) on this thread http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/s...hlight=winstrol I'm pretty much convinced to head straight to the ER room. Problem is, everything is written in medical profile. If I ever need (hopefuly NOT) to activate my health insurance for something, a record which said "The man injected B12" doesn't look good, one would conclude steroids as well pretty fast. ER is the last option. I guess.

This might not be the best choice, but if you go to the doctor don't tell them you're injecting yourself with drugs, it will go in the chart. Tell them you were walking through the woods and something stuck you and you don't know what it was. That's what the junkies always say. It's up to you.

Thanks genarr VERY SOUND advice!
I just talked on the phone with a neurologist who's a friend of a friend, he is not familiar with the issues of abcess but he did help me out on what to do. He said I should head straight to the ER and tell them I got stuck with something, just like you said. I think since it's in the glute I'd tell them I was sitting on a bench that and something poked me. I don't believe they'll buy the story, especially that i am somewhat muscular and shaved, and a 23g makes a little hole, makes nonesense but anyway, not to play with health I guess. damn I HATE hospitals.
