diet for cycle

Juve, I'm not trying to argue with you, just understand what you're saying.. please don't take my comments and questions as anything other than that :)

As far as the 47'g of carbs, I was under the impression that dealing with a low carb diet that the fiber doesn't count since it is passed through your body. That would bring my carbs down to the low 30's. As far as EFA's preventing ketosis, I'm curious as to where you're getting that information?

I didn't say that EFA's prevent ketosis: it's just that give the amount of polyunsat. fats relative to saturated fats you seem to be at destitute for EFA's (omega-3's=>EPA/DHA more specifically).
And just on a side note, most people cannot enter ketosis unless the fat intake is 55%+ of over all daily nutrient intake, rest being protein, and a nominal (NOMINAL!!!) amount of carbs. All the carbs (if any) on ketogenic diet should come from veggies (along with fiber) and from occasional sweetener/food presevative like those in pepperoni, ham, deli meats (that's why I don't advocate eating that trash)

The issue must be most pertinent to you because you'd want to yield every conceivable benefit from your cycle - accomplish this with an excellent/well expounded dietary routine, no less :o

I understand now.. thanks for taking the time to explan that.

I made the same mistake when I first started a CKD....I had protein at 50% and fats around 45%......around 20 carbs a day...

It took me a week before I found out why I wasn't getting into ketosis from a thread on this board

good advice juve
