diet for cycle

Before we start, the stats.. 25, 5'6, 155 about 15-16% bf. Regular lifting, 4 times a week, cardio 3-4 times a week around 30-40 mins.

currently my diet is around this each day.

Code:
	grams cals %total
Total: 1698 cals.
Fat: 74 670 [b]41%[/b]
	Sat: 24 215 13%
	Poly: 3 31 2%
	Mono: 13 117 7%
Carbs: 47 125 [b]8%[/b]
 	Fiber: 16 0 0%
Protein: 210 839 [b]51%[/b]
So were talking 51%pro/41%fat/8%carb, and I'm taking an EC stack 3x ed (200mg caf, 25mg eph hcl).

Trying to get down to mid 140's while maintaining muscle, with the rate things are going, probably another 7-8 weeks (already on week 4, lost 13lbs)..

Now when I get there, I plan on cycling 500mg sust/wk for 10 weeks to build lean muscle.

So the question, which I'm sure I took long enough getting to, is would continuing this diet aid in building lbm while reducing bf, or would I be better of switching to more of a 60pro/30fat/20carb diet? Basically I don't want to turn this cycle into a monster bulking cycle, but I would like to add a few pound of lean muscle while not gaining all the fat I've lost on the diet. Is 1700 cals/day going to be insufficient to really build muscle?

interesting diet you have - the ratio of saturated fat to poly's is 8:1. Worried about testo underproduction???? :o

have you looked into CKD and/or carb cycling diet? your current ratios provide neither the benefits of ketosis, nor the benefits of substantial muscle glycogen storage/synthesis - all I see in the future is weight loss (due to calorie restriction) with positive net muscle loss (obviously you don't want that). I would opt for CKD/carb cycling diet :martini:

I would question that statement.. what would suggest to you that I would not be receiving the benefits of ketosis?

because you're not being in the state of ketosis would be the most reasonable and self-evident answer, don't you think? as to why you're not being ketosis, is well, 51%pro relative 41%fats (any EFA's by the way) will not get you anywhere near ketosis, along with 47g's o carbs. i am not trying to patronize you, just take it for what it is as opposed to what you think it is :o

I don't know very much about ketosis, but just loooking at your diet, I know 3 things
you need more fat
you need less carbs
you need less protein

Juve, I'm not trying to argue with you, just understand what you're saying.. please don't take my comments and questions as anything other than that :)

As far as the 47'g of carbs, I was under the impression that dealing with a low carb diet that the fiber doesn't count since it is passed through your body. That would bring my carbs down to the low 30's. As far as EFA's preventing ketosis, I'm curious as to where you're getting that information?
