DE squat and ME bench westside

Another week of westside:

DE squat: 6/18
Box squats: 65lbs x 10 x 2 pr
Summo deadlift: 75lbs x 4 x 1 pr
Reverse hypers: bw x 5 x 8
Machine chest supported rows: 10lbs x 4 x 8 (plus whatever the actual machine weighs??)
Glute ham raises: bw x 3 x 6
Pull down abs: 80lbs x 5 x 15

Me Bench: 6/20
3 board bench press: 80lbs x 1 rep max pr
Clean and press: 65lbs x 3 rep max pr (cleaned 70 lbs but no press)
JM Press: 45lbs x 2 x 3 pr
Incline DB press: 20lbs x 2 x 10
DB power clean: 10lbs x 4 x 8
Leg Raises: bw x 5 x 15

I had a terrible day today!! :kaioken: I found out some bad news earlier in the day and I feel like it affected my whole workout. I actually started to cry after doing my clean and press..... Of course exodus told me he was proud of me and to suck it up and move on.... I just felt like it wasn't good enough. It was my first time to ever do those but sometimes when your so down on the inside its so easy to take it out on yourself even though you know better!!! I am doing the best that I can right now and I suppose thats all I can expect of myself! Exodus often tells me I have high expectations of myself which he is proud of but I have a bad habit of putting myself down when I don't reach those levels especially when it comes to lifting!!!! I can honestly say I am officially addicted to powerlifting... Never has a "lifting goal" gotten to me the way it did today. I'm hooked for good

my baby did me, but mainly her proud today. she is a true redheaded warrior, with the heart of a champion.

she will be ready for the contest at b folds. just wait and see.

We have a lot in common!!!! You should see me after a bad workout...hurts a lot. You should see me now after ANY kind of workout. Just stinks...injuries.

Keep your head up. A little prayer can go a long ways...even before your first set.

b fold...thanks for the inspirational words. It always helps to hear someone as well trained as you still has those same issues and hard times but yet it always gets better , right!!!!

Spatts.....I can't wait to see you in KY. I would love to see you compete but I know that day you will be assisting bfold. Just you being there will still give me inspiration! Thanks for caring... congrats on your pr's...thats impressive!

I would never appreciate the good times if there weren't hard times. I just know that it can't get much worse right now...which means that it must go back up soon. Remember...I'll probably NEVER win a contest again in my life...EVER!!!!
