Well, I am going to try a few new things for a few weeks. I plan to decrease the weight on box squats, increase the band tension, and go heavier on my speed deads to work on increasing my dealift a little more. I'd like to his a deadlift PR in about a month or 5 weeks.

Cheese did have a pretty good workout tonight too. We are working on his form (on everything) so he is going lighter and feels a bit weaker right now. Form is important...even though changing it may cause you to be weaker at first...

When I finished lifting...I decided to kick the bag a little bit. Man...my legs just didn't feel like I had that much control over them like I used to. I still feel VERY fast but just have lost a little bit of foot-eye coordination, if that makes sense. Was having problems getting my hips into some of the kicks...and the small bag didn't help much...lol.

Round kick in different spots
Spinning kick 1, having problem getting my head to follow my hips
Spinning kick 2...similar problems
Hook kick thrown in different styles and with different timing

I also attempted a tornado kick...haven't even tried one in a LONG time. I am gonna be sore. It didn't go very well...but I came close. Couldn't get my body to stay 'tight' when I was trying it...

We did some gripper work too. Cheese was not having a good night with these either...strange.

I was having fun closing the #1 gripper with my thumb and two fingers...

wow...as always you guys continue to amaze me! ask Cheese how his hams are doing after those sumo GM's! I don't believe I've ever seen them sumo style...I'll have to try it next time around.

MY hams are dead right now from them so I imagine that his are too. We are adding 3 sets of 5 (easy weight and easy sets) of some type of GM that we don't like to do for a ME exercise. I don't like seated or close stance or rounded back. Cheese doesn't like anything with a moderate to sumo wide stance.

Those box squats looked intense man! Tempo was nice!
 
i've said once, i'll say it again, i know B fold's the nicest guy i have ever met, but i sure wouldnt want to be on his bad side.
