critique my diet. Shut up if you are not absolutely positive about your advice.

Why are you so interested in my weight? 197 at 5'9".

b/c your weight and bodyfat have a direct impact on how much you should be eating and whether or not you really should be taking that mass gainer and whether you really need the "suger for the extra calories."

also.. yes you do get just as big of an insulin spike if you take in high glycemic carbs combined with low glycemic carbs. those low glycemic carbs don't change the absorption rate nor the glycemic index rating of the other carbs they're consumed with.

I've spent 4 lonely days in a brown on a haze and I just want you back by my side. Or something like that.

Headin' up to San Francisco
For the Labor Day week-end show
I've got my hush-puppies on
I guess I never was meant for glitter rock and roll
And honey I didn't know
That I'd be missin' you so

Chorus:
Come Monday, it'll be all right
Come Monday, I'll be holdin' you tight
I spent four lonely days in a brown L. A. haze
And I just want you back by my side

Yes, it's been quite a summer
Rent-a-cars and west-bound trains
And now you're off on vacation
Somethin' you tried to explain
And darlin', it's I love you so
That's the reason I just let you go

Chorus:
Come Monday, it'll be all right
Come Monday, I'll be holdin' you tight
I spent four lonely days in a brown L. A. haze
And I just want you back by my side

I can't help it honey
You're that much a part of me now
Remember that night in Montana
When we said there'd be no room for doubt

I hope you're enjoyin' the scen'ry
I know that it's pretty up there
We can go hikin' on Tuesday
With you I'd walk anywhere
California has worn me quite thin
I just can't wait to see you again

Chorus:
Come Monday, it'll be all right
Come Monday, I'll be holdin' you tight
I spent four lonely days in a brown L. A. haze
And I just want you back by my side

I think I need some test so I can eat crap like that and gain. Im only 5'9" and 247. I am going to dwarf the michelan man soon.

I think we're being fed a bunch of bullshit about what we have to eat to keep and gain big muscles. I need to eat cheaply and have been for the last several weeks. I think the following will meet all my nutrition needs. If you disagree, let me know.

Lots of tuna, bread, rice. Raison Bran cereal, whey protein powder, weight gain powder for extra calories when I need them, sunflower seeds unprocessed to put in tuna. Milk. multi-vitamin, creatine, testosterone. That's it, basically all I eat and I have been gaining size lately. Rarely any vegetables, only need them for fiber anyway and I don't have a problem with elimination. Usually I will have a chicken sandwich with swiss cheese and a cup of fruit, but I'm going to cut down on this because of expense.

Ground beef is always cheap......

Now I eat what I want....thank god....

But when I was in college, I ate as cheaply as I could, lived on ramen noodles and ground beef.....tuna, chicken when it was on sale.....and protein powder....veggies help with the protein breakdown as well...not just fiberous carbs.......I also drank an assload of milk......I would however switch the bread to oatmeal...and if ya can't stand it try it with ground cinnamon and splenda.....works for me......another good one is cottage cheese, and sugar free jelly......taste like cheescake.......mmmmmmmm.....cheesecake.....:p

I just asked one of our nursing instructors this question the other day and she said that the research shows that it does keep the blood sugar levels stable even if you eat simple sugars as long as you combine them with slow releasing carbs, protein, or fat. Is she wrong?

Eating fat with any carbs will lower the GI and slow down absorbion, and will keep blood sugar levels a bit more stable, but eating other carbs with it will not help.
