Couldn't you just picture thousands of men jumping off their horses, putting their weapons down and doing plyometrics and one legged squats to some heavy Indian rock a couple thousand years ago?

The hindu pushups stretch the spine nicely. It is as therapeutic as an exercise my Chiropractor use to use. I believe it was called flexion/distraction. I can feel the columns stretching and it feels great.
need to find out the proper form for these hindu type movement, im recovering from a back injury which i sparked of again by testing it to see if it was healed
id be interested in them as something to do while im waiting for the back to heal.....and if i like em i;d keep doing em after i guess, but on non weight days
Polish Hammer is right. I haven't read the book. I don't know much about anything Hindu. The reason I said what I said is that these exercise names have been called into question. Me, I don't care where they came from. They work and that is all that I need to know.
