You have to pull the bar apart on OH Squats. You should start them using only a broomstick. Never start learning the OH Squat with even a bar. It took me 2 months to get used to the mobility it needs on the hips with the broomstick but then again I'm a slow learner so I think you'd take lesser time. But, 110 lbs is way too much for a noob to OH Squats.
