Casien Vs Egg White B4 bed

I take 6 egg whites, 35g whey, flax powder and natty PB in a shake before bed.

Considering substitutint the egg+ whey for casien protein - any coments?

"Casein - Casein, on the other hand, is digested very slowly (over 2 - 7 hours). This means it's great to use a protein supplement with casein before bed because the longest time your body goes without protein is during the night while you are sleeping.

Egg - Egg protein (albumen) digests at a medium pace (1.5-3 hours) so it's a good anytime protein to provide a good sustained release of aminos to the body."

Scrambled egg whites topped with ANPB and cinnamon mmm.... lol i know that is not what you are looking for. If what you are doing now if working, then why change it? As long as you are not waking up in the middle of the night starving or loosing lbm do what ever.

Thx,

Yeah its workin but I guess why not opt for the casien if its gonna keep my nitrogen levels up for twice as long! Im in search of the perfect diet bro's!!! Still aways to go...

Cinnamon is great. I add a little to my shakes and try to sneak it in to other meals. It is suppsed to blunt the insulin response from certain foods and aid in insulin sensitivity.

My pre bed shake is 50g micellar casein, 25g whey iso, and 10g pysilium with two grams of fish oil. This keeps me from waking up starving at night.
