carb cycling

Ok so i've been dieting since past friday, it's working between that and my cycle. since sunday i've had it dialed in so my macros end up at 2650cals/100carbs/110 fats (less than 20 sat.)/ 310 protien.

my question is. should i carb cycle, if so how often. every 5th day? when i do, what do i do? how much carbs should i eat on this day. really only want to add in some fruit juice and oats/milk/kashi cereal/whole wheat or whole grain pasta/ maybe a pb jelly sandwich. on this carb up day, can i eat what i want? like shoot for 400 carbs. i donno. should i hit the ala all day long on this day also rather than just with my pwo shake and meal after. my diet now looks like this. some things might go in diff orders

am cardio on empty stomach

meal 1
2.5 servings ground turkey/greens and or veggies

meal 2
whey isolate shake no carb no fat with 1 serving either anpb or almonds

meal 3
8 eggs/2 yolks--1/2 serving anpb

meal 4
pre workout 8 oz. grapefruit juice

meal 5
pwo whey isolate with mixed frozen berries and ala

meal 6
whole wheat pasta with 50g of protien worth of chicken breast and ala

meal 7
whey isolate with anpb

sleeepy time.

oh yes, on non lifting days, only sat and sunday, i don't have the pasta or grapefruit juice or frozen berries. no carbs basically except from greens and nuts. should i just cheat up on the weekend?

what would i do on carb up day to this diet, or should i just keep running this diet straight through? thanks
 
I do mid/mid-low days...

208, 170, 170, 208 etc... so 1 mid, 2 mid low, repeat... cheat meal is only on a high carb day ONCE per week
 
what do you consider high carb day without over doing it. should you try to keep as much carbs as possible whole grains and oats and not fruit and sugars. i only like to get sugars pre and pwo.
 
well right now im on a contest diet... so my carb sources are:
oats
brown rice
red skin potatos (post workout)

I eat basically Zero other carbs, no juice, no fruit, nothing.

The only thing I do that isnt approved (ssshhh dont tell!) is I put about 1 serving of bbq sauce on my chicken and potato PWO, so 8 grams of sugar.

High carb days, its a 6oz potato, low carb its 4 oz

usually im spot on but lemme tell u 4 oz of potato aint shit. lol

i saw your post on the other board, but after i responded here... IMO i would cut ALL sugar out of ur diet, fruit or otherwise... you said you have a really hard time losing fat, I thought I would too, until I cut out every bit of sugar... since then and with much better attention to intake, Ive been dropping fat like crazy

Edit-- let me add, i was 186 starting... this AM weighed at 174, that is 5 (ish) weeks
 
very nice. thanks for replies. i'm gonna try ketosis for awhile. just protien and fats and greens. the little carbs i get from those will be enough i got some strips. once on each weekend i'll cheat and replenish glycogen stores. i'm gonnna try this for awhile. basically it's what you suggested, just dropping the pasta too.
 
I did really good on a carb cycle diet.......I think you have to just try differant styles of dieting and see what works for you.
 
im thinking of keto, what do you guys think, i've dropped from 230 to 222 recorded same time of day since last friday since i started dieting, should i change to keto for more rapid clean results?
