Can i do anything to prevent this?

thanks for the input, im not really wondering when i can hit the gym but how i can keep my mass if possible.

i know how your feeling bro..i just had stomach surgery about 3 weeks ago...didnt' eat hardly anthing the whole first week , still can eat only soft foods and can't do any type of exercise except cardio...i am so looking forward to my yearly fall bulking cycle...man i cant wait...aaarrrggghhh:mad:
 
Hit legs hard, it will help you retain size all over. Last year because of an elbow injury I could not really lift upper-body much, but did hammer my legs. It was pretty interesting because I didn't really lose any size up top.

You could also try doing some sprint training. This will stimulate fast-twitch fibers in your whole body, without stressing your wrist. I've known sprinters who don't even train upper-body in season, yet still retain a high level of development there.
 
hit that chest harder arms are pretty big makes chest look weak especially the upper chest region
