Taper it up bro. You need to adjust your cals as you go. If you start high and stay there you'll gain a lot of fat in the beginning and then your weight will plateau.

either way..just be sure your eating plenty.

either way is good, but i think that once you're around week7-8 you'll find your gains will stop unless you up the cals.

Tapering up is a smart move. I personally gotta a better feel for things from doing so, and having also tried poundin down the calories, or should I say carbs, I can tell you again, taper.

This is very good advice here, Mak is completely right. It works the same as when dieting. You dont want to drop your calories all at once when dieting down or you will plateau, same with bulking. Believe me, if you go from say 2500 cals per day and immediately jump up to 4500 - 5000 cals in one weeks time, you are asking for a nice little jump in bodyfat as well as muscle, I dont care how fast your metabolism is.

i wouldn't focus on getting to 5k calories right away. add 500 calories a week and see what is happening. fat gain on cycles is harder to lose, in my experience, because of the estrogen related fat gain. you dont want to worry about losing that when you come off. if you start gaining at 3500 calories stay there till you plateau. dont rush the increases.
