Burning fat and not muscle - calorie question.

Hi guys, im a 22 year old male, who is 160 pounds, 5'8 and a half inches tall, 32 inch waist, and im pretty lean. Im guessing my bodyfat percentage is mabye 13%? Anyways, i want to lose bodyfat, but not muscle. What would be the daily calorie intake for me? 1600? Im going to start the zone diet and dont know how many calories i need to eat to burn fat and not muscle. I woud like to burn 10 pounds of body fat. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As everyone is different... from the total cal intake you are consuming now, reduce around 10%-15% and see how your body responds. Try not to lower your fat intake more than 15% of your total.
