Bros.. I cannot get enough calorie intake

Bros.. I cannot get enough calorie intake, I picked up some ABB XXL drinks with 50gms protien and like 250 carbs, 1100 calories,very low fat. Are these things just a waste of oney? I bought a few cases because I just do not have enough time in the day to eat 4000cals due to work issues. Anyones opinion on these things or just eat as much as possible even though I do not get the cal intake...
 
What keeps you from getting in enough calories? Work? Schedule? In my opinion, whole food needs to be the largest source of your intake. Shakes are good for supplementation and pre / post workout, but beyond that it needs to be food.

Absolute SHIT! That crap is packed with tons of sugar that will make you fat. You are better off going with Muscle Milk and consuming more shakes with less "trash" calories.

If you make enough money seriously consider getting a chef to premake your meals for you. Its not as expensive as you think.

Also, get a couple of LBS of nuts, some aminos, and Omega 3's for your desk and car.
 
Follow old school bodybuildings advice. Focus on calorie dense foods if you're a natural ectomorph and are fairly lean. Whole milk, eggs and redmeat for foods. A lot of the guys from the 60's and 70's made homemade weight gainer shakes from protein powder, heavy cream, honey and ice cream and they looked awesome for their time. It's a lot easier to get your calories in eating like this as opposed to chicken and brown rice six times a day. And you'll grow a lot better too.

the XXL will help but you need to eat and eat more,and eat high calorie foods
you need to do more research,but if your just trying to get 4000 c,s aday then it should be no prob,try getting 8 to 10000 a day

Anyway eat more fats. eat a steak. Look into omega 3,6,9 oils and MCT fats such as coconut for clean calories

ABB XXL has 250 carbs in it as you posted...

What you need to understand is flooding your system with carbs lowers your HDL. I don't believe that lipids are a big problem these days , but that may be something you should stop doing
