Ohhh the ironies of life... my ping-pong ball size bis won't grow for shit, but if I even LOOK at a squat rack my friggin glutes grow like an inch a day! I want to keep my quads & hams tight and defined... is there anyway to do this without stimulating my glutes?

Thanks.

try olympic style front squats, use a fairly wide stance and angle the feet out about 15-30 degrees. Then you'll have your upperbody virtually upright from rock bottom to top.
Improve groin flexibility too.

Hes right front squats also try hack squats. I also have an over powering but and I find leg press to work best for my quads and I do light hams one week and heavy the next to try and keep my legs from rubing to much and but from getting to big.

How is your squat technique...If you keep your upper body almost perpendicular you will hit your quads more. This is what front squats also do....they give you the ability to keep your upper body erect which will take some emphasis off your glutes.

Or you can pre-exhaust your quads by doing leg extensions first or supersetting with leg extensions first. This will cause your quads to get fired before your glutes get worked too much.

Thanks bro... excellent advice... I'm really gonna incorporate these techniques. And you're right... I do tend to lean forward somewhat when squatting... that must be the problem... I'm gonna do these front squats next time for sure.

Karma for you

Start with an empty bar though, they can be tough and humbling :)

basicly its like taking the end stage of a power clean and squatting that.
For me personally I need to take a very wide stance to stay upright, or else I have to fight to keep the bar wedged on my shoulders. The advantge of a wide stance is that I work my groin flexibility and muscles as well.

I go all the way to bottom. A wide stance allows for that, and then I can feel it in my hammies as well.

personally i dont want small glutes but, my gym teacher told me right now that i shouldnt be going all the way ass to the floor. if i go to 90 degrees will this still work my glutes.is there a stance that i can do that will keep working my glutes with out going all that way down.

ps i guess where i live girls dont like guys with flat asses kinda like i dont like girls with flat asses.
