lol. Yes it's hard. I've never cussed so much in my life, but yet I could never put the controller down. I've beat it twice now on normal mode.

They came up with a "Hurricane Pack" you download for free (Xbox Live) that adds new enemies, new moves, weapons, and makes the AI even harder. Much harder!

Definitely Mario 3. I can remember the mad assed craze when that game came out. It was unlike anything else up to that point in terms of video games.
