Awesome G-Money,I'll take yours and fistfull's advice and pick up some Tweed and Truth.

You can save a ton of money by buying the tester cologne. The shit starts adding up when you have a full arsenal.

What is a tester?
Testers are made by the manufacturer to help promote their fragrance. Without testers there would be no way to try a fragrance to see if you will like it and to see if the fragrance lasts on you. All testers are sold unused, with the entire original quantity in the container. By purchasing them without the box and/or cap (depends on designer), we save $$$ - and pass the savings onto you. If you're purchasing for yourself, or just don't need the box, testers are a great way for you to get the same amount of quality fragrance at an even deeper discount.

O WELL!

I usually don't keep the box but the cap can come in handy. So it's up to you.

The cologne companies spend so much on packaging and such that the actual cologne probably costs less.

Hey folks I have a little question:

my brother and I recently got my dad some Dolce and Gabanna AFTERSHAVE. He doesnt use the stuff..anyways, the bottle looks exactly the same as the cologne version, and the aftershave is a liquid...pretty much the same texture a cologne would be. I'm wondering, what is the difference between the two? I'm guessing the aftershave isn't as potent, but can I, for example, use more aftershave than I would cologne to get the same effect? Shit smells pretty good...

thanks folks

The Cologne that gets the most positive comments from women is without a doubt BOSS ELEMENTS AQUA! It's hard to find in the US for some reason but order it online and you'll have it in a couple days. It works like magic on the ladies!

I work overseas i have seen it and can get it at most duty free shops, i leave for Australia Sunday ill check it out.

Just bought Auqa de Gio. Love the scent, but damn, it disappears in 5 min.

lmao, totally agree.ADG is easily my favorite scent right now(waiting on my Green Irish Tweed in the mail to see how it compares),but I have blasted through a 3.3 oz bottle in literally a few weeks.Going to get the 6.7 ouncer next time.

Hey huck, I'm just curious: why did you go with GIT as opposed to Millesime Imperial? Was it the price, or did you just prefer GIT better?

I've heard nothing but great things about BOTH colognes, so just wondering...

I have both Millesime Imprerial and GIT , I like the Imperial much butter. Also , Himalaya is a good choice too, great for a formal event.

GIT was first on my list based on feedback here from folks who have actually used it,as well as not many places seeming to carry MI.But Millesime is next on the list for me,as well as Platinum Egoiste. That's going to dent the pocketbook something fierce.

BTW you guys, one of the scents I bought off your recommendations that I get the most compliments/inquisitions off of is FCUK.It has that suave light vanilla after smell that really is addictive.Wasn't initially crazy about it,but it has grown on me big time and become one of my favorites.

Next on my "to-buy" list.Have heard nothing but great things about it.

Just got in HUGO by HB.Smells awesome.Very clean.

bor, how big of a collection do you have now?? :chomp:

It's getting HUGE!lol

Pretty soon I'll be able to wear a different scent every single day for 3 weeks straight.Look what you guys started....haha

Nothing wrong with that. Just where are you going to put all of them? Better have a big self.

has anyone tried armani black code yet???

Tested it out yesterday - not bad, but not what I was looking for. Ended up getting Escada Magnetism (I think that's what it's called). Like it a lot and have gotten a few compliments already. Good for the spring/summer.

Been getting loads of compliments from the ladies on Kenneth Cole Black lately.Really slick, clean scent. Will probably reorder a tester.

Just ordered Issey Miyaki and Kenneth Cole Reaction, which seem to get great reviews on perfume emporium.

Well,I just found my new favorite-Reaction...Stuff smells unbelievable.I would put it up against aqua di gio any day.

Another kick ass scent I just got in(based on it's high ratings at several of the sites)is Hanae Mori.Really killer scent, kind of on the sweet side.Highly recommend.

I'm with ya bro. Bought Reaction the first time I smelled it, it was new at the time. I get lots of complements on it, but, like aqua de gio, I have to spray tons to get the scent to last through the night.

That Reaction stuff has been getting pretty awesome reviews on most sites I see...and it sounds like my kinda scent (not too sophisticated and overpowering but kinda light and fruity). Might just check it out.

Aqua Di Gio - Georgio Armani

:supercool :daisy: :busy: :spatts: :dance2: :three:

You are asking for it

Jean Paul Gaultier - Le Male
Dunhill.....Dunhill.

I really can't believe that people actually wear Drakkar...that stuff was cool 20 years ago when I was in the 8th grade.

I bought for my hubby Armani Mania and Tommy Bahama...hmmm...they smell so good...
I think u guys should be asking the ladies to tell you about colognes - bottom line is: they are for us to smell'em and enjoy the scent... :)

Have Kenneth Cole reaction I like it but smells too common? not sure if thats right term or not.

Love Burberry Touch .

Kenneth Cole New York - lots of compliments

Gucci Envy- girlfriend loves it.

Issey Miyake or Bellagio.
If out of both, I just go with Old Spice aftershave and b.o. For some reason I don't get the same effect, though.

Kenneth Cole Reaction is probably going to be my next purchase..

Gucci...Envy

SEX IN A BOTTLE
this is the italian sportscar of colognes, gotten more compliments from the ladies than any other cologne i own. smooth, sleek and musky, you can either go light or heavy and it still won't overpower. i'll keep buying this one for life.

YUMMMMM
One day my guy friend wore ENVY and I just wanted to grab him and kiss him - gentlemen, you should definitely buy this scent if you want to get women's attention.

Girls loves this scent. Very classy, sexy and lasts all day. Probably best scent from Gucci. One of my "Best Buy".

FELLAS; THE NEXT TIME YOU HIT THE CLUB, WEAR THIS FABULOUS SCENT. WHEN THE LADIES GET A WHIFF OF THIS ON YOU AND ON HANG ON YOUR EVERY LIMB, YOU'LL BE THE "ENVY" OF EVERYONE IN THE SPOT!!!!! AND THAT'S FOR SURE.

I am a fragrance collector. I have over 20 bottles of colognes. Out of those 20, Envy is the number one cologn. It is so sexy. whenever I wear it I feel so manly and elegant. GOOOOOOOOOOO for it. If you don't have this one, you are missing whole a lot.

This is one of the finest cologne's on the market. A European treat of lust and romance is embodied upon the possessor. Adore it and severly recommend it. Thank you Gucci.

Gee, I can hardly tell you're a collector

My collection is full of popular shit + some new shit; thought I could help you guys out though if anyone is looking into the following (Im a bigger fan of lighter scents)

Light Scents:
Hugo Boss - Boss in motion - Light "orangy" scent. More "sporty" if anything. Very low lasting power, but a pleasant scent nonetheless. Recommended for younger crowd. 3.8
Giorgio Armani - Acqua di Gio - The classic. Pretty decent lasting power, way too popular. Light VERY pleasant scent, for middle aged/younger crowd. Only faults are pretty high price and popularity. 4.6/5
Kenneth Cole - Reaction <3 - New scent which is instantly become a hit. Lovely aqua-like smell. If you could imagine what Acqua di Gio smells like in green, that's what this smells like. One of my new favorites. Not too common yet, so in that sense it's better than AdG. Younger Crowd/middle age if you can pull it off. 4.7/5
Paris Hilton [for men] - Paris Hilton - Very "fruity" scent. Smells really pleasant but almost too feminine. Not too popular, only if you're VERY confident with your sexuality. Smells like a bundle of oranges/mangos/apples and such. For the Younger crowd. 4.1/5
Le Male - Jean Paul Gaultier - My new favorite. Also for those confident with their sexuality, as this is a fragrance that many homosexuals/bisexuals use, along with women (from what I hear, no offense is meant.) Strong notes of vanilla, smells wonderful though, hints toward candy-ish during the drydown. This is for younger/middle age. 4.75/5

Masculine/Strong Scents:
Dolce and Gabbana pour Homme - Dolce and Gabbana - Women love this, personally, I care for it only a bit, I prefer the Black Code more. But nonetheless, women love it. Becoming pretty popular, but recommended for middle/older ages, younger if you can pull it off. Has hints of smokiness on the drydown. Around college age and up more than likely.4.25/5
Giorgio Armani - Black Code - Nice. I love this scent. Hard to describe, all I can suggest it to test it you can find it anywhere. Compliment-recieving. Women like it. I'm prety sure most can pull this off 4.5/5
Burberry London - Burberry ( someone STOLE IT FROM ME :( ) - Very strong woody scent. Havent smelled it in a while because it was stolen. I suggest testing this also but I remember liking it a little more than D&G. For around college age and older I would say4.35/5
Gucci - Envy - My newest scent. Not sure about this one yet. Very strong and smells like "power and money" women like it, from what I hear. Pretty good stuff. For middle/older ages or around college ages if you can pull it off. 4.3/5

I also recently picked up Desire by Alfred Dunhill and Blue Label pour Homme by Givenchy, (and possibly Aquaman by Rochas, which is apparently v. similar to Subtil by Salvatore Ferragamo)

I'll let you know when I get them

Just recieved it, wonderful aqua smell. It's up there with AdG + KCR for me.
~4.6/5

I also sampled the NEW joop, the lady at the counters favorite. It's REAL nice, i suggest you guys go out and test it

These are the tops in my collection:

1) Egotiste Platinum (called by a few women "orgasm in a bottle."
2) PI
3) Aqua Di Gio
4) Cool Water

Question, I bought a bottle of Aqua Di Gio at a dept store and it smells like citrinella, the stuff you spray on to stay away from bugs. I bought another cause I thought maybe it was a bad bottle and it was the same thing. Does anyone else find theirs smelling like this???

Question, can you buy testers at places like sears? Thats the only store that sells anything good around here

Also, anyone been to sears? they have anything you like?

Dilliards is better than sears.

Issey Miyaki all the way. I will never venture away from it. Its my favorite.

One that I used to wear was actually called Tribute and it was by Mary Kay if you can believe that shit. Tribute For Men. I used to get complements all the time about it and what it was and where it came from. I never told anyone what it was, lol. :coffee:

Thalium...my X called it Panty droppers 101 she couldnt not keep clothes on around me when i woreit around her. i love the shit its easily the best smelling cologne ive ever used. girls cant keep there hands off me at parties either shit is nutz all my friends want it bu ti aint givin out any info to them lol

D&G, Fahrenheit, Versace blue jeans for me on guys
I could just glue my nose on your neck and sniff you all day :)

maybe ill just put glue on my neck and accidently bump into woman's noses on purpose so i can get an ego boost when they cant unstick from my neck lolol :artist:

myd...i heard a manly way of attracting a female according to various experts in the field of relationships and dating is...to walk up to a girl..say, at the front desk at a big gym, grab her melons, squeeze hard for 10 seconds while keeping a straight face looking directly at her, then tell her we're going to dinner tonight at whitecastle, then back to my place to try anal...then i throw up a double biceps and walk away without smiling...

would this work on 100% of girls, or just the majority? I need a female's opinion!!!

It would work 100%, go try it next time when you are at the gym and let me know and your fellas how it went! I'll cross my fingers for ya!

I was just going to beg for it but unfortunatelly I only have bugbites instead of melons. Maybe I should buy a couple on the market then hit the gym and I'll meet you at the front desk.

lmao...honestly? I prefer more of the natural look anyway on a woman...B+ or anything in the B range works fine for me. Gimme a bite of your bugbite and screw the damn melons =0)

alot of girls like that stuff my fiancee does too but the only problem is if you go out to any place(club, pub, lounge, whatever) good chance everyother guy is wearin it. I like dandroff<sp> goodlife

I use mostly Armani scents, and by far my favorite has been "Code."
I like "Curve" and "Aqua Di Gio" and most of Hugo Boss' colognes, however they feel more like an executive at work kind of smell.

Code feels more like badass dude hangin' around chillin' wit' the ladies. Or young male clubbing.

the BEST cologne...I get compliments everywhere I go when I wear it.

"Very Sexy" for him by Victoria's Secret. TRUST ME!!!

Acqua Di Gio is 2nd, but it is pretty played out.

1995 called....it wants its "COOLWATER" back!!!

:FRlol:

my man always wears farenheit(sp?) I loved it before last week. We went to the strip club with his friends. When he got home, he was passed out in our bed smelling like a combination of cheap stripper, farenheit, booze, and cigarettes. Those things make an ugly smell when you put them together. now i hate the smell of farenheit.

Yeah Angel is ok but prob one of the most heaviest and overwhelming colognes I have ever smelled -

So who else here has purchased the testers? All is good?

I think I answered this before.. Dolce & Gabbana! The ladies love this stuff everytime I wear it. I know it smells good because I get guys asking me the same thing.. lol!

What the hell is up with the so called retarded rule that you must have the latest scent or it's just not cool. Either the stuff smells good or it doesn't. I don't give a shit when it came out. Haven't most of the Chanel scents been around for a long time because they smell great? Another news flash, one type of cologne doesn't smell the same on everybody.

i'm still staying loyal to Calvin Kline Eternity.

even peeps that do not notice scents compliment me on it.

i had my wife beater kept as i tried to leave early this morning.....because "it smells of CK and you". :p

THANK ya, calvin kline eternity! :artist:

shadow (and others)....

the classics never go out of fashion.

may it be cologne, clothes, music, cars, proper behavior...............

They all suck and make me wheeze, cough and gag. I'm highly sensitive to all that stuff. It's terrible when a man or woman enters a room and I'm on the other side and I can smell them from across the room.
BARF
:worried:

:p i've lost several wife beaters b/c of CK eternity... :)
