I'll agree with you that free weights will always be that little bit better, I mean I fuckin' love squatting, but I have seen and heard of too many bro's shredding their shoulders benching! It is entirely possible this is due to poor form which there has been a lot of discussion about recently but I use a press which has a safety so it is less risky and it is working for me along with seated pulldowns, pec deck and heavy dips!
