Anybody know these two or where they train? I know the heat has been on at Gold's Gym in Gilbert for a few months now. I heard someone that sold gear to a teen (that's dad happens to be a cop) started the ball rolling on this.

Parents accused of running steroid ring

There was a big-time drug bust based in the Valley with connections to the world.

Police arrested a 30-year-old man and his 28-year-old wife at the East Valley apartment they shared with their two small daughters.

Mesa cops say the couple Scott Ferris and his wife Toni were running a big-time steroid manufacturing and distribution ring over the Internet.

The couple is now behind bars.

At the time of their arrest Wednesday, police say the couple had in their possession nearly $100,000 worth of anabolic steroids in powder form plus 10,000 capsules ready for sale and $6,000.

A half-million bond has been set for Toni Ferris.

A $1 million bond has been set for her husband after he reportedly told police he’d flee to his native Canada if he was ever caught.

First the cops don't have a damn clue as to what roids are worth and second the father sounds like a real fucking dumbass to be telling the cops he's going to flee to canada. If they did sell to a minor though i don't feel sorry for them,i do feel sorry for thier 2 kids.

My guess is that he made the statement about fleeing to an undercover cop or narc before he knew he was busted? If he was being cocky and telling the cops he's gonna flee to Canada after the fact, he's a moron.

Arizona is very tough on drugs. The roids they had were probably worth about 10% of what the cops are saying-maybe even less? I've lived in AZ for 15 yrs and there's always been undercover cops trying to make buys in gyms from anyone remotely big or muscular. It's fairly common, so apparently these two were greedy and/or too brazen about what they were doing.

There's a good chance they'll get off easy if they kept quiet and the cops don't have any hard evidence that they were selling. But this remains to be seen. Since many roid peddlers are inexperienced when it comes to getting busted for drugs, they'll cut a deal w/ the cops where they set up other people(like their gym friends?) in return for a lighter sentence. The sad part is they'd probably get an even lighter sentence if they kept quiet, didn't cooperate, and hired an attorney. Oh well, it sucks to be them.

This shit has been happening way to much recently.

Just another day in AZ. Roid guys are such easy targets-like shooting fish in a barrel. The funny part is half the cops here are on the stuff and the other half probably wish that they were.

I heard on another board that this guy if it's the same dude is a pretty well known guy in the biz. They said he got nailed when they intersepted a shipment of powder. Don't know if it's the same though. Same state.

The way the cops do it here is they'll pull up in an actual UPS truck dressed in an actual UPS Uniform. Once you sign for the package-a dozen cops pour out of the back of the UPS truck and take you down to the ground, followed by a knee to the back of the head. If you refuse to sign for the package, the cop in the UPS Uniform throws the package in your apartment, followed by the dozen cops that take you down to the ground with a knee to the back of the head. Then they forge your signature themselves and say that you signed for it even when you didn't. On the nightly news they showed the apt. complex where they lived-it's about 10 miles from where I live. Most likely it was the cops playing dirty because when you live in an apartment here, packages are usually left in the apartment complex's main office. A note is then left on your door for you to pick it up at your convenience.

That's why i alway's completely leave my house and shut the door when i receive a pack. Cop's are some of the biggest scum bags i have ever dealt with.

I know. I'm just glad I learned about their lying deceitful ways when I was really young. I know guys in their 30's that got popped and they truly believe cooperating with the cops is the best option. It makes me want to strangle them for not abandoning the strong influence of their upbringing to respect and obey police officers (as if they are above criticism?) Cops are not superheros. They all have their own individual flaws like every other human being. Most guys become cops for the wrong reasons. They're either scared of society and/ or on a power trip. (usually because guys like me decapitated them in high school gym class dodgeball) They sure as Hell can't be doing it for the pay. Managers at Taco Bell make more than most cops.

If they sold to a minor, thats stupid. 1.5 mill between the two? shit people get less than that for murder...BTW, correct about the cops, i know a couple of deputys and they are all on AAS, hell, one of them deals the shit

the media needs to find another horse to beat, i'm sick of hearing about this. it makes it tough on the rest of us,and most of the time they have not a clue of what they are talking about
