Cooking clean was hard at first because I would prep food every day. Now I really don't. I just make enough food for a couple of days 3 times a week. I measure everything out while I'm having a bit of downtime and watching tv. Everyone has 20-30 minutes chunks of downtime either in the morning or at night. It's so easy to just prep out food while chilling out. It doesn't have to be stressful.

I just prepped out all of tomorrow's food and figured it out on fitday. I let myself have treats over the holidays (in moderation). I'm 100% fine with that. But damn it feels good to be back to normal. My body was screaming for veggies!

Prepping food stops me from cheating on my diet by about 99%. I'm usually so full at work I don't need candy or cookies. I always keen raw almonds at work and cottage cheese in the fridge.

Bump.

I use GNC's free online workout and meal log/planner. http://fitnessplanner.gnctotallean.com/default.aspx It keeps my diet clean, because it automatically tells me how many calories I've burned and how much I've consumed each day. It will keep you from cheating.

I think your hubby is trying to sabotage you. My boyfriend is not exactly a positive influence, either. I think that he wants me to look good, just no too good. If I look too good, then he starts to feel guilty about his paunch and he doesn't want that.

I love him, but he needs to drop some pounds.

He claims he's not........ could be subconscious.... Anyway he drank beer all day yesterday then walked to the corner store & bought ice cream, the whole time trying to push it on me!! Thanks hon! Kept pushing drinks on me too. Then teased me about how many x.xxxx cals I ate the # of meals, etc....

He needs to lose weight too....

The "Why are you even here?" in my sig is what I said to him at the gym the other day when he didn't want to do something....

Makes me so glad my hubby is very supportive and involved in fitness too.

We usually either diet together or fall off the wagon together.

If I am getting back on the wagon and he isn't yet, he has NEVER given me a hard time. He won't buy food that stays in the house when I am home. He would go out and buy cheat food while I am at work and eat it before I get home so I never see it. And he NEVER tries to get me to eat something I don't want to.

If we are both on the wagon and dieting, if I start craving something mid-week, he can usually talk me into NOT getting it - without making me feel bad. When he is really on, he is a ROCK when it comes to dieting.

That said, he can't wait until I get pregnant - he is HOPING I get Taco Bell cravings all the time. :)

It's true! We were talking about it last night, and I was telling him some women get morning sickness so bad it lasts all day - and the only thing they can hold down is taco bell, burgers, etc - He was SO excited. He was like, if that is the case, we are going to end up with like 9 children because I'll want you to STAY pregnant! :)

Not that *I* want it to be like that - I hope to be able to continue eating healthy, but *HE* hopes I become a Taco Bell lovin' PG lady! :)

lol.....He knows it too. I think he is worried HE will gain more weight than ME. :) At least *I* will have socially acceptable "excuse" - he is afraid of just looking FAT. lol

He cracks me up.
