Not that marky needs me to validate what he says but he is 100% correct and also brings up some excellent points. First, your body will grow to like being on Klonopin, it is something that you will have to exert some effort getting off of, however, you will be doing that as a healthy person. Right now, you can't think "getting off" you must think only "getting healthy." Believe me, I've researched it, it won't be impossible and first things first brother. Klonopin will take your CNS out of hyperdrive and help it get used to being normal. marky also talked about anti-depressants which I suggest you try to avoid if at all possible at this point in time. That is because if you start down that path it can be a scarey, uncertain and frustrating time. Everyone acts differently to the anti-depressants and finding the right one(s) for you may take a while and you will go to hell and back while trying to find that right combo. Besides, you haven't been diagnosed as of yet with depression, at least that I've read so far. So try your best to keep it simple for now and try one thing at a time. Klonipin is pretty tame in terms of how you feel on it...you simply feel normal when on it. And it's not a false normal like if you were "drugged up" like on morphine or something. Again, it simply takes you brain out of that hyper-drive that you most likely are in. It's simple to try, it will work (or not) within 1 day. Anti-depressants on the other hand take weeks to determine if you are getting any benefit from.
Next, absolutely do not self prescribe anything in the condition that you are in right now. By that I mean do not get anyhing from the internet or even from any internet doc. I say that because if it doesn't work out and you are having a bad reaction, or whatever, to that med, you will be in a world of hurt because there will bo no one at your disposal with which to get help. You need continuous observation and care as with a local doc. Especially if you're talking about anti-depressants. These med's are serious, people commit suicide on these med's. Please, don't use an internet source for ANY aspect of this, get to a good local psychiatrist and tell him/her all that is going on and go from there. I also would stay away from a general doc on this one because they'll start you on an anti-depressant faster than you can shake their hand to say hello. Like I said, you need to be diagnosed and you may not be depressed. You may only need a simple anti-anxiety med, and only a psychiatrist can do that for you. General doc's are nothing more than pharmaceutical company pimps and drug pushers. Sorry, general doc's make me want to crush something.
To sum, find a psychiatrist who cares as soon as possible...in your area (local).
Good luck and God bless!
All the best, bro.
