Rack Pulls: These were 'exciting' to say the least. It was VERY hard with the bands added and I figure that they were adding between 180-250 pounds of band tension. It was pulling my 110 blocks off the ground easily on each side before I was standing up with the bar.

It was difficult to control the weight and it really taxed my grip a lot. I have problems with speed on the partial pull because I gain all of my speed off of the floor. I hope that these will help me just a bit.

more on the way...

The 415 Atlas Stone was rough on me today. My lower back was in pain before I even got to the Atlas Stones. I tried 3 times to get this bad boy up and I broke it off the ground ONCE. I swear...the 420 stone they used in Boston was smaller than my 365 stone I have here. I did not get it today...but I did leave A LOT of skin and some blood on it...

Hussafell Stone: We had not done these in quite a while but decided to have a little fun with them today. As your arms get tired you lean back more and as you lean back more you lose your oxygen... It is a 'fun' event for sure. I may give the 400 stone a whirl in the next couple of weeks.

Cheese told me that 'some girl' found him a t-shirt somewhere and 'gave' it to him... Nothing ceases to amaze me about Cheese...

A guy from about 20 minutes away came and trained with us. He was here in December for the 'Kentucky Training Day' and has gotten stronger to say the least. He had a good time and plans on being here as often as possible...AND competing in the Music City Strongman Challenge in June. Jason will also be here on April 12th to train with us...
