Another Box Squat Video

Looks pretty good to me mike.

I think the only thing I do a little bit different is that I sit up straight on the box before I stand back up. Other than that it looks good to me.

You are doing a good job of keeping your knees behind your toes.
 
yeah i second that.....i sit far back on the box, staighten up, then stand up


i think a deeper box would help
 
Way to go man, you have really made improvements.

Here is what there is left that I can see:

1. Notice how you start your decent. It begins with your knees moving, and this is wrong. Focus on pushing your butt back to begin your decent and it will make a huge difference

2.Lower the bar on your back and lean a bit forward (15 degrees), keeping everything tight in the back, right now you are too vertical to squat without your knees coming forward. Your chest should be coming down right between your knees

It looks pretty good to me as well. Just make sure to release your hip-flexors when you are on the box.
 
Looking better. First off, listen to Iron Lion.

Second, when you sit down on the box. . . SIT on the damned thing. don't just touch your fanny down and go back up. The box squat is 3 moves.

1. Sit back onto the box.
2. While sitting on the box, relax hip flexors.
3. Explode off the box, contracting hip flexors and trying to spread floor apart with your feet.

Looking much better tho. I am glad to see you are not dropping down on the box any more.
