I'm about the furthest thing you can get from being naturally lean....I'm 90 - 100 lbs lighter than I was 2.5 years ago.
I'm very happy it works for me.....it was almost like I finally found the right 'key' and the fat loss just started happening rapidly while strength kept going up as well.
very satisfying for me to do it on my own, and understand why something is working.....although it took me a long time to learn why things work and don't work.
and it's not really that much fructose.....figure if you eat three apples a day, as your only source of carbs, you're getting carbs from a few different sources.... around 1/2 fructose, and the rest a mixture of glucose, sucrose, and fiber.
I'm not saying that I go out and eat a bunch of fructose packets or something

Good points, and as usual Mr. X is on the money. Don't for that eating large amounts of fructose, for many individuals will reduce the production of thyroid hormones, leaving less t4 to convert into t3, even if it does so more efficently.
Mr. X and SC are also correct in diets being a highly individual thing, but I've noticed that people who can lose bodyfat when cutting, after a heavy bulkding phase, while eating large amounts of fruit, tend to be naturally lean individuals to begin with. For most of us, it is not going to be the best method for losing bodyfat while preserving lbm.
