Advice--How can I get a vin diesel-type body tone?

Hello, new to the forum and got a serious question. I am semi fit now. I want to bulk up but not to the point of having huge bulging muscles (not criticizing the people that do), but rather the leaner looking muscles that vin diesel has. I know for him a lot of it is genetics, but is there a way to get close to that type of tone doing certain exercises or specific weight that I should limit myself to?

BTW, I am 5'10' and weight 180 lbs. I have a little bit of a gut and am semi toned because I life weights occasionally. Im open to any advice, thanks.
 
Learn about diet. This is the most important thing for everyone. Then get yourself on a 3 day per week weight lifting program. Thats it man, right there is all you need to do.
 
You could easily get vin diesels musculature. He's only like 210 or 220 or so. You could probably get there just by doing pushups and shit if you wanted. I'd shoot for higher (bigger/stronger) if I were you in the long run because that's entirely possible and you wouldnt wana short change yourself.

Oh only 210-220??? It's that easy? Just doing pushups and shit..yes anyone can be 220 but not everyone can look in shape like a bodybuilder.. You must be one big ass mF....
 
Nah I'm only in the 220's right now gotta add another 10 lbs atleast before winter gets in full swing. Genetically speaking, 220 is kinda small for me. I used to be 235 without ever touching a weight and eating less than I should. Then I dropped to 188 early this year cuzz I starved but I aint letting that shit happen anymore. My "little" brother's got 25 lbs on me and I'm trying to catch up with him. I hate feeling small bro, I'm sure you know what I mean.
 
5'11 and change. bf was like 20 percent its like 13-15 now. In the end I want it at 8-10 but for gaining weight the body is much more anabolic if the bf level is somewhat higher than that. I read an excerpt from rippertoe saying that and I believe him on that one.
 
sorry bro.. if there was a magic pill you could take then every american would look like vin deisel.

you need to workout for years and years and diet strict to look like him and have the genetics to boot.

this site is a good place to start.. get on a training program. and then the diet section will help you mold a diet to fit your goals.

supplements i can recommend would be on needtobuildmuscle.com.. you can buy a stack and run that.. gnc supplements are overpriced
