A bit of ephedrine help please guys

Hi all,

I'm in need of a bit of advice, I'm just about to start taking ephedrine, not for the first time, and would really appreciate some advice.

I ruptured my acl and tore my meniscal cartilige playing rugby in december and am now coming up to 11 weeks post-op, unfortunately I am now over-weight and am probably looking to lose about a stone and a half to 2 stone of fat (think thats about 28pounds) - i.e I need to cut fat, my bmi is currently around 28%, i'm 5ft 10 and about 14 stone. I don't want to lose too much bulk as a rugby player but i deperately need to cut this fat - I was wondering if the ephedrine and caffeine will still be just as effective in fat burning if i simply lift weights - with not too much cardio, may seem like a stupid question but I presume with the eph and caff my heart rate, whilst lifting, is still going to be up around 140 min. which is pretty ideal for fat burning - and my weights sessions take me about an hour and a half, plus a 3 mile walk in total to gym. Or would it be better to do the cardio first and foremost and then weights after if poss. I understand both would be better but I only ask as when i have taken eph in the past i do my cardio at the beginning and then i feel too ill/knackered afterwards to then go on and lift weights, i just don't want to miss out on the lifting.

Long and short - is it going to be more important to get the cardio done and ignore the weights if i have to or vice versa, bearing in mind what I want to acheive?

Sorry for long and boring post, any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers

In my opinion, weights should come first especially if you dont want to lose your size as a rugger. I would take short rest in between your sets to keep your heart rate up. You will lose fat just getting back to activity period but make sure your diet stays in check. Diet is probably most important for your scenario. Just my opinion hope this helps out. And hit up the ECA before your workout to give you that extra boost for the short breaks.

Thats really kind of you, thanks very much, the amount of eph i've got should last me about 8 weeks, thats taking 1 twice a day to start off with and cycling 5 days on and 2 off. If I am unable to do cardio as well as doing the weights do you think I will be able to cut the fat around my belly that i've managed to acquire over the last 4 months? Thanks for your help, much appreciated, hopefully diet won't be too much of a problem as don't eat any dairy anyway.

I would assume just being active again will help you lower your overall body fat, alot of times that belly fat is just so stubborn haha, just give what your thinking a try and see how it works and make adjustments as necessary...thats probably the best thing

if you set up your workout right with volume and timing you can maintane your target hr pretty good and be all set with that. personally i would get up and run on an empty stomach a few days per weak to.
