15 y/o learning the big boy basics ***

My goal is to bulk and get strong and big. I don’t care about numbers on the scale, but just BF but I know I will put on BF. So I don’t care, just want to look pretty beast =D

So here is my post, please read through carefully lots of questions in it.


Diet (Since 29th of January) - This was sort of a cutting diet


Morning (as breakfast) – (7:30-8:00) [I drink it along this period of time]
1 Cup of fruit
1 scoop Whey Casein Protein
5-6egg whites (liquid form, Simply Egg Whites)
3 to 4 Cups Milk
2 Scoops of Oats
20g Creatine Monohydrate
Blended, and drunk

Nothing in between

Lunch – (12:00-12:45 anywhere between this time I eat)
Lunch varies, 1 sandwich (rye bread) inside the sandwiches tuna somedays, mashed eggs. Have spinach leaves ontop of the tuna, or egg whichever it is.

Nothing until my pre-workout drink

1 Hour before Workout (2:30:ish)– Protein
2 Scoops Myofusion Protein with 2 scoops oats

Dinner (5:30-6:30 anywhere in between here I would eat) –
Generally varies each night.
Sometimes – Pork curry with basmati rice with green beans in rice. Chicken, Pork, Fish, anything meat each night with a cup or 2 cups of broccoli. This is right after my workout.

Between then, and bed (around 10:00) Not all the time, whenever i am hungry – Oatmeal with raisins in it.
150mL of water
1/3 cup of oatmeal
Handful of raisins



That is what I eat in a day. Now I am looking to bulk. I want clean carbs, and nothing sugary. ExtraMile suggested this diet. However I want to incorcorporate Mutant Mass into my diet since I have to finish 2 15lb bags I have in the basement. Mutant Mass stats are on the bottom of this post.

This is what ExtraMile suggested. I am going to try and follow along the lines of what he suggested. HOWEVER can I not keep my morning shake, and instead of having chicken before my workout, have some Mutant Mass. Also, I was planning on basically adding this to Extra’s diet. Tell me if this is okay to switch in.


breakfast - *** Can i not have my normal morning shake, but add more things to it? Or just cut it out and have my eggs? ***

4 whole large eggs eggs
2 slices toast (wholemeal)
1 glass of milk


snack -
***On top of this snack, I will have 2 scoops of Mutant Mass***
1 apple
1 glass of milk


lunch (at school) - ***I am looking for an alternative to the PB&J sandwiches, too sweet. Anything else I can have that is effect? May mashed eggs in bread? Or tuna like normal?***

4 slices of wholemeal bread made into two PB&J sandwiches
200-250g of cottage cheese (add salsa into this if you like or something else to flavour)


snack -
1 banana *** not a banana, some blueberries instead ***
glass of milk


After school/pre workout -
*** Want to take this out and have 2 scoops of Mutant Mass ***
50-75g of brown rice
175-225g of skinless boneless chicken breast

Post workout -
*** DO NOT want anything sugary here. So just a whey shake, that okay too?***

post workout meal -
meat and a type of rice, potatoe, bread or some other carb

pre bed -
1 glass of milk
nuts

Basically whatever I *** and coloured red Is that okay to add in?


Not sure how long im suppose to bulk for, but I want ot bulk and put on some good muscle, and some fat since im suppose to.

Basically if your critiquing here are some rules. Please nothing with sugar.
Also, I am doing this for however long is suggested. So critique it up. My current diet is the very first one. My diet that I may have is posted below with questions on if I can add certain things into it.
 
Any suggestions?

Also i want to know how big should my meals be? Like should i be eating huge fucking amounts, like an animal =D or in little amounts or. . .
 
So. . . no suggestions? Trying to put together everything before i bulk, so i can atleast learn what i need, put together a grocery list, and get together things basically.
 
Anybody at all able to help with my diet? I am going to start as soon as my CLA pills are done. My cousin recommended them for when i was trying to cut. They should be done in a week or under 2 weeks. So then i will start my bulk.
 
At 15 years old you can make gigantic gains by pounding a ton of calories. I didn't dissect your entire diet but I will try to help you go in the right direction with some good things to do. First off what is your height and weight. This will help us a little more.

ok to bulk you should pound calories like its your job. try to keep them as clean as possible because it will make it easier for you to cut when you want to lose fat. i would eat 3 g of carbs per lb of bodyweight minimum while bulking. so that means eat at least 450 g carbs a day but i would eat more. it would be a good idea to gradually increase this number week by week. start out a little lower and work your way up to a bigger number of carbs. your body will adjust better to this and less fat will be stored, at least this is from my experiences. have at least 1.5 g lb bw of protein per day too, so that means 200 g at least. so about 5 meals a day of 40 g protein each meal at least. i would maybe eat 6-7 meals a day though if you can fit it into your schedule.

so lets go over this

BCAAs will digest quickly and put you in an anabolic state fast. then in the next 15-20 minutes eat something else that digests quickly. high GI carbs are not a bad idea here when bulking. eat some protein that will digest quickly, like whey protein isolate. the reason you want something that digests quickly is because your body is coming off a long fast and it will soak up the nutrients.

Meal 2- eat this 60-90 minutes later. the reason its 60-90 minutes later and not 2-3 hours later is because meal 1 digested very quickly and your body is ready to digest more food.

Other normal meals- eat these 2-3 hours apart. look into digestive enzymes, like bromelain and others. they will help you digest more of what you eat which means more nutrients toward muscle growth.

Also, how should i be measuring my carbs and protein? I am really not sure how much carbs are in the food i eat, or how much i am suppose to eat of that food. When i bulk i know your eating more often, but do you eat a lot more serving size? Or keep on eating little but more often?

a good way to measure food is to go to calorieking.com. for instance for chicken breast, type in the amount of oz you are eating and it will tell you how many g of protein are in it. for example 16 oz of chicken is about 93 g of protein.
 
Being skinny, weak, and 15 old years bulking should be fun and prolly harder than you think at least at the begining. You say what you want but your going to be scared to eat the way you should. Just working out right now, correctly ,coupled with your age and bodytype you burn calories.....period. So in the begining at least the first few weeks you should eat like garbage but in an excess you've never tried. This will be the fun part...Mcdonalds,Chipolte,pizza,goobers.....whatever you can. Your going to notice a couple of things about ten days into this, first how food and calorie intake will effect strength and strength progression,recovery,etc. Second how hard especially at your age it will be to put on weight and how much you actually have to eat to start putting on weight. Now a gradual shift towards eating cleaner should occur after 4 maybe 5 weeks and it will be a lot easier to eat the amounts of "clean food" you need to eat because you've been eating so much food in general. Now eating completely clean like recipes they put in Muscle Magazines is gay and will hinder your progress. you should only eat super clean before a contest(you won't be seeing one of those anytime soon) or if your orcha fat(your not fat and now i think your stupid for your constant fucking cardio ,you suffer from lack of muscle). Just cleaner as in more protein from meat would be a good start.

Just the mcdonalds thing, fucking serious? I am suppose to eat like garbage? hahah thats going to be crazy hard, i don't want to spend money eating out at garbage places period. Only place i may buy a lunch if i forgot would be subway, but rarely ever. Maybe i could do soemthing different in terms of eating garbage?

Second, just nobody has critiqued the diet i posted. Is it fine for bulking? Or is it eating to little, and can i include the Mutant Mass, i have to finish 2 bags anyways plus its a 1000calories on top and has a lot of different proteins and bcaa's etc.

DO NOT eat McDonalds. that stuff is garbage, the nutrients will not digest well and your body will not use it at an efficient muscle building rate. you need to eat good clean foods from the supermarket and eat a lot. i think milk is a great choice to drink while bulking because it's easy to add a lot of calories with it and it's very anabolic due to a good insulin response. i make great gains when drinking milk.
 
+1 for milk rikishi. Ark needs calories. Arby's would be better than Mcdonalds anyway. Fuck the diet you posted just on the fact you wait for someone like extramile and rikishi to post something you like then you want to edit it more to your liking. To support my stance on you being a fucking idiot how's the cutting coming along? lmao,have you managed to signifigantly improve your strength and appearance? .....or did you manage to lose 2lbs. while simultaneously stalling all progress? Listen ark there is a place for things like diet,insulin response,carb loading,PWO,blah blah fucking BLAH!!! But you eat your fucking foot long veggie on wheat and My imaginary 15yo kid will eat 6-8 roast beef sandwiches washed down with a gallon of milk and we'll see who wins. Plain and simple ark fucking eat more!!! your not going to get fat becase your 6ft. 150lbs. with the metabolism of a 15yo. If you were going to get fat you'd already be fat regardless of what you or anyone else thinks.........eat and lift and you'll look like you eat and lift......but in a good way.......I promise.
 
yes I agree with switchman about pounding calories, this is very important and you can get away with it at 15 because of a high metabolism. i would just make sure to eat HIGH QUALITY foods because they digest a lot better and more will get to your muscles which means better gains in size and strength.
 
Yeah a lot of questions i think lmao. Just not sure where to start, haven't been on here much cause of a busy week and weekend, but still been at the weights.

So i guess now im going to be waking up and having 2 scoops of whey casein protein. Then about 30-60minutes later some eggs. And the rest of the day i have sorted out, i realize you don't have to really have a diet since it is mainly just eating all the fucking food you can =D.

My pills are almost done, probably starting the bulking end of this week or so. Can't wait, i hate being stalled on the weights im using right now and not really able to bump up the weights much.
 
alright, so i don't really measure how many calories, or how much protein i have in a day because i quite frankly really do not know how to. SO, question here

Meals. What is considered a meal. Would for example my apple, with a glass of milk be consider a meal in 1 of my 7 meals in a day. Would a banana and a glass of milk be considered a meal?
 
I would consider that a snack. I like that bloke +1. You don't have to be super strict because your just starting and you will grow. Meat is your friend(I'm fond of steak). A good rule is to never be hungry. a better snack would be a banana and your weight gainer. All the foods tha bloke mentioned are great. I promise you'll be bloated at first but your metabolism will be there I promise. I have seen your video only once but I can tell your going to be a slow gainer at least at first.
 
Enjoy eating now because if you stick with everyone here at elite food will eventually be a chore.

well i whould like to ask this then, since you told me a good pointer is never to be hungry. HOWEVER, when i eat do i want to be over stuffed, and bloated? Or enough in me to just be full for 2 hours or so?

at 15, for training, I would recommend something like a 5x5
Sticking to compound lifts on monday, wednesday, and tuesday will give you a good strong base.

As for food, eat 4-6 eggs every morning, tuna, salmon, red meat, spinach, brocolli, oats, whole wheat bread, chicken, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, all natural peanut butter, and anything you can get your hands on.

I always stuck to 3 large meals with shakes between.

breakfast - 4-6 whole eggs, 1 cup of oats /w cocoa and splenda or 2 slices of whole wheat bread with anpb, and a glass of milk
snack - shake, and or almonds and blueberries
lunch - 2 salmon burgers with two slices of whole wheat bread or a can of tuna with vinegar and a yogurt, some spinach or broc
pwo - 2 scoops of your myofusion with cocoa, cinnamon, greens+, milk, a banana, anpb (try peanutbutter&co from walmart), honey, glutamine, and some oats. (you don't have to put near as much in, but this is what I do. just make sure you have some simple sugar and protein).
dinner - 3/4-1lb of red meat, or 2-3 chicken breasts. 1/2lb-1lb of spinach or 1 cup of brocolli (add cheese if you want)
before bed - shake of casein protein with milk or cottage cheese

I eat a lot of milk and steak at your age. if you want to grow like a tree do the same. and since you're young you can add in cheat meals a few times a week.

thanks iggy, appreciate it. im starting my bulk on monday, im just warming up to it. And its helping, cause im becoming a lot more hungry for food.

Basically, im doing from 2 eggs on m-w now 3 eggs from t-sun then my 4 eggs m is when i start my bulk. I haven't been having anything else with my eggs, other than a glass of milk. i know i probably should have some bread.

For snack its an apple in the morning, will take my weight gainer in about 2 weeks, going to try and do straight up food first. I will also take a glass of milk with my apple.

Lunchtime, i had 2 sandwiches with mashed eggs. I should probably have more to eat, but i think that is fine i get pretty full, not enough but enough to last for 2 hours.

Next snack is another apple, normally 2hours after lunch, which is close to an hour or an hour and a half before my workout. I will take my milk with it also on monday.

After my workout, i have my dinner. Can be chicken, pork, anything that is good meat, that my mom cooks, and almost 2 cups of broccoli. Normally a glass of milk with dinner.

So far i haven't had anything from after my workout, until before my bed when i have a Casein protein shake, with my creatine mono.


I would like to know, i was thinking about having a bacon cheese melt, homemade and take it for a snack before my workout with my apple, milk, and weightgainer (when i start it in 2weeks). On the bagel, i would have a whole wheat bagel, with 3 or 2 slices of bacon, with 2 slices of processed cheese melted put in tinfoil and put it in my bag for school before my workout. Is it cool to have that everyday? or M,W,F only on workout days?

I think i have some more questions, just cannot remember.
 
bro, you don't need a weightgainer, just follow the diet I told you.
And make sure you always have some oats (even throw peanut butter on them if you want) or ww bread or any kind of complex carb in the morning if you're bulking. 2 eggs won't do it. Scramble, Poach, or hard boil at least 4-5. That will help you put on muscle and an apple won't be enough for snacks.
 
It not that i WANT to use the weight gainer, i somewhat do but i HAVe to because i have 2 15 lb bags that i HAVE to finish. Plus, it helps with some energy before my workout, so i don't mind. And its convenient, but after im done the bags i won't buy anymore.

ANYWAYS next, i will try and follow your diet. I will add stuff in and whatnot. Right now im at 3 eggs, going onto 4 eggs hopefully up to 6 by mid march. Also, i will throw in 2 whole wheat breads with my breakfast then.

Next, i would like to know if having some chicken before a workout is fine, or having that bacon on whole wheat bagel, with cheese is fine for bulking also?

Oh and along with my apple before my workout, i normally have my protein shake if that helps. oh and i won't be using any peanut butter for now, not for another 2 or 3 weeks atleast.

Possible to clarify up some things? what should a snack be?
 
you want to eat something like a cheese stick, 25g shake and apple, or blueberries and almonds as a snack. trail mix may even work. I know you can do four eggs in the morning bro, I do five when I cut. The harder you lift, the more you will be able to eat.

Do i eat as much as i would on an on-day? or a bit less. also what do you do on an off day? would this be okay, i come home from school, do homework, watch some t.v, help out around the house, and on tuesdays play soccer other than that i wouldn't really do anything much. Anything else i should be doing?
 
Bro, I remember in high school I would sneak protein shakes, almonds and blueberries, and protein bars/cheese sticks into class with me and eat them. Always pack your lunch. Most high schools have the same companies that cater for prisons cater for them. As for off-days eat less carbs and more veggies if you can. Lots of protein.

oh yeah for sureeeee i do have my protein shakes. i can never forget to have them even though my teachers say no eating or drinking in class but i still do. I may try and get some cheese sticks actually, other than that im pretty good i guess.

Any sorts of meats you guys make and take it around that are convenient? i don't mind bringing around some tupperware, say if there was pork stew, or some shit like that in it, that i could eat. Any suggestions on convenient meat sources for school?

same shit here- i usually eat at school and even though it usually tastes good, i can tell the chicken is completely shitty quality and so is everything else.

Now that I feel like I need to get my diet on track to continue progressing the way i am, i am going to start doing some of the stuff iggy listed- what do you eat for lunch? I am going to start waking up earlier packing some PB&J's, almonds, and maybe cheese or a protein bar.

Don't get to the point where eating becomes a big hassle for you though because that's when you start to not care about it. If you know there is a teacher who doesn't care if you eat, eat in that class or if you sit in the back, eat in that class. You can also go to the bathroom/eat between classes.

Enjoy your training and your diet- they're lifestyle changes that take longer than overnight to happen. Gradually start doing things to improve your diet and it will become habitual after a while.

jdid. go to walmart and pick up some peanutbutter & co anpb. it's the best tasting ever. try the cinnamon raisin flavor. White chocolate and Dark chocolate are bomb as well.

I need some help with ideas for convenient meat? Canned? Boxed? Fresh cut? What... something I can take with me anywhere, like a protein bar, and has a good amount of protein in it.
For example, you have canned tuna. It is easy to make, and quick to make also tastes somewhat good. Anything that is not tuna, or peanut butter, that is just like beef or pork... or something that I can have to eat? Its killing me having protein shakes to help up my calorie and protein intake... I want solid foods. Btw im doing a bulk.
Suggestions? Please do not say peanut butter, I don’t want any peanut butter period.

This is what ExtraMile suggested. I am going to try and follow along the lines of what he suggested. HOWEVER can I not keep my morning shake, and instead of having chicken before my workout, have some Mutant Mass. Also, I was planning on basically adding this to Extra’s diet. Tell me if this is okay to switch in.

Not sure how long im suppose to bulk for, but I want ot bulk and put on some good muscle, and some fat since im suppose to.

Basically if your critiquing here are some rules. Please nothing with sugar.
Also, I am doing this for however long is suggested. So critique it up. My current diet is the very first one. My diet that I may have is posted below with questions on if I can add certain things into it.
great plan but one tip for you at the end of your stated breakast routine, don't get drunk that early in the day at age 15 (wait until 17-18 to start drinking in the morning). other than that OK

Actually that was quite old. I am doing a bulk now. So i have changed up quiteee a bit.
