Coming off a disappointing 4-3 loss last time out, Florida hits the road with a chance to get on the winning track Thursday at Ottawa.

Florida takes its 6-9-4 mark to Ottawa to rumble with the 13-3-0 Senators.

The roadies are big underdogs here, laying 290 on the money line. The Senators sport a 13-3-0 record, while the Panthers are 6-9-4. The total opened at 7.

Last time out, the Panthers lost to the Canadiens 4-3 as 200 underdogs. That contest went over the closing total.

The Senators, meanwhile, will try to forget last game's 2-1 loss at the hands of the Hurricanes, a game where they were favorites by 280. The combined score went under the total.

With the league's #29-ranked offence, Florida either needs a breakout game or it's up to the defence to keep them in this one. The Panthers average just 2.3 goals per game.

Some trends to consider:
Florida is 1-2-2 OU in its last 5 games against Ottawa
Florida is 8-14-3 OU in its last 25 away
Florida is 2-2-2 OU in its last 6 games away against Ottawa
