Cardio sucks cock

I remembered why I stopped working out 2 years ago. I fucking hate cardio. Goddamnit, I mean its just boring as fuck. Shit. I was on the stationary bike for 45 minutes yesterday swearing underneath my breath at how much cock cardio sucks. I think I'll take up swimming like Michael Phelps, that looks like it could be a little more fun.
 
I hate doing stationary cardio, like on a machine. I have to have some kind of intervals to keep myself from going batshit. However, I LOVE cardio outdoors, especially if I have access to a solitary, quiet, natural environment (ie: Running on the beach, mountain biking in the woods, etc)

Buy a real bike, preferably the mountain variety, and go trail riding. Much more fun.
 
Go find a big old tractor tire flip it around your yard then beat the shit out of it with a heavy sledge hammer then stand it up against a wall or tree and use it as a punching bag it's a blast and it's one of the hardest cardio slash pure strength workout you will ever do and it only takes 20 minutes
 
I just got finished swimming a mile in the ocean freestyle then riding my bike for an hour up and down the coast

cardio can be awesome if u think outside the box

Just got home from back/bis day. Did about an hour on stat bike. It passed pretty quick since I found Mean Girls on the TV. Staring at Lindsay Lohan's beautiful body back when she was a prime cut of beef was awesome.

Title.... Agreed. I stare at that fuckin clock from the time I get on till I get off. Now I'm doing stair master instead of tread and it sucks more donkey dick than before. Why do I opt for this torture. Like a rat on a wheel

My gym has a pool, I'll probably start swimming.

Another option is I have a friend who plays tennis, and has been asking me to play. She's apparently really good though, I don't want to get my ass kicked by a girl.

As nonstop as you can make it. Looks easy but it's very exhausting.
 
At my gym some of the machines have a TV built into them. Find a good show and it's awesome.

I always use the program where you hold the grips and tell it what HR you want to be at and it adjusts the resistance to keep you at the right HR.

I find that if I'm watching a good show, my HR changes a lot based on how funny I find it. Pretty cool.

BTW what HR do you guys work out at? I find that 150-163 is pretty good for me. But I have to lie and tell the machine I'm way younger than I am to get it to accept that HR setting I prefer.

Indeed. I've "changed up" my lifting regimen at times where I incorporate a high rep/low weight/minimal rest circuit type regimen. It's so exhausting and there's been more than one occasion where I thought I was going to puke. I've never been that winded doing treadmill work or trail running.
