will you lose muscle while cutting ?

Hi sassy & val. I got 3 questions ! ! !

1) - - - In response to your answers: when you start a cutting diet or plan or whichever it's called, won't I lose some muscle mass ? Defenitely NOT WHAT I WANT !!!!

2) - - - Also, how do you know when it's approiate to go on a cutting diet, what if you haven't put on enough muscle, then you start a cutting cycle & your muscles look thin & stringy looking ?

3) - - - what exactly is a cutting diet ? do you still take in a lot of protein, but just cut calories & carbs ?

1) Your bound to lose some muscle when cutting if your cutting without supplimintation. If you cut with AAS in my experience you lose no muscle in fact you gain it.
2) Depends if you have a goal to compete or not. If you do then you need to do a time frame of when it is logical for you to stop bulking so you can have enough time to cut for comp. Most rec. BBers bulk through the winter months then start cutting around spring so there body is beach ready.
3) A cutting diet is typicaly low carb, high protien, low-moderate fat.

Good Qs. Before doing anything, you have to lay out your expectations and evaluate if they are realistic.
