*why eddie why*

So Eddie George visits Dallas, lets just pray he doesnt tarnish his great career with ending his career in Dallas!! what a shame it will be

whats you think f4lcon

I would love to have him on our roster. i am not sure if he is the starter we want, but I think with the rookie starting and George coming in rested for 10 plays a game ...it could be interesting. I also think they are Jerry's house right now (well earlier) for dinner and discussions. If he is visiting Jerry, he is baout to sign. News Conference Tomorrow in Dallas ;)

Welcome to America's Team Eddie. :)

DONT DO IT EDDIE, NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

LOL

we'll see

Eddie George sucks. He was never good and always overated. His career average is 3.7. He has only aveage 4 or more yards a carry twice. And they were both 4.1. As far as I am concerned he should have never been a rb. He is too tall. At one point he was good but not for long. If parcells is as smart as people say he will not sign him. The last 3 years he has averaged 3.2. I don't think he is worth getting as a backup. He should have stayed in tenn. and not been a brat with the money.

He should have been a kicker!

1995 - 61ST Award
Eddie George
Ohio State Back

Eddie George captured Ohio State University's sixth Heisman Trophy. At 6-foot 3-inches George averaged 152.2 yards per game and scored 23 touchdowns. George rushed for over 100 yards in 11 straight games after gaining 99 in the Kickoff Classic against Boston College. He accomplished all of these feats while rarely playing more than three quarters. George's finest game was at home, in Ohio Stadium, against a tough Illinois defense, which was ranked second in the Big Ten against the run. During the 41-3 romp, the Buckeye rushed for 314 yards and scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving. When his coach, John Cooper, was asked what separated Eddie George from every other player he has coached, Cooper replied, "I've been coaching 33 years and this young man has got the best work ethic of any football player I've been around. Obviously he's a great football player, but this award could not go to a finer person, both on the field and off the field, than Eddie George." George was selected by the Houston Oilers in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft with the 14th overall pick Eddie was named to the Pro-Bowl in 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Hes definelty no star whos gonna create some unreal plays and get his 100 yrds every game but what he is is tough and consistant. You can give him the ball and pound away with him all day which then leads to an opened passing game.

You can also do that with alot of 3rd string rb's. Well the cowboys signed him. If he isn't a backup then Parcells is crazy. The only Justification for him not taking Steven Jackson was that he could test out Jones this year and see if he has potential and if not you can get a better rb than jackson in Caddilac or Benson.
