The combination of white and yolk makes for a perfect amino acid ratio. Also, the yolk used to be considered anabolic by the old time bodybuilders , namely for the fact that cholesterol is needed to produce testosterone.
I believe one large egg has about 7 grams of protein......I only eat one yolk per day as the yolk contains saturated fat which is the #1 fat u should avoid......eat mainly whites as they are the most bio-available protein u can ingest
the conflicting reports come from normal eggs where the chickens are fed crap. buy the good quality eggs and you won't have to worry about yolk or not.
The problem is not the "egg white" or "egg yolk" is it everything else you are eating during the day! If you analyze each other meal/protein source carb etc. like you have done for tyour egg, you will def. find a plan that works. Just be concious of all other meals also!
