"You ladies need to relax a bit and live a little. Enjoy some real food once in a while. It ain't that bad."

W6, I'm nominating this for QUOTE OF THE YEAR! Thanks w6 and Lobo, I love the way y'all think. Don't get me wrong I'm not about to run out to Wal-Mart to buy some Bon Bons but I can eat real food. Mashed potatoes, biscuits, cornbread...........wow just talking about it made me hungry. Maybe I took your comment out of text :)

Oh btw i drink 3 protein shakes a day. I getting in atleast 160 g of protein a day as a minimum, but usually never over 200.

"You never get more than 200g a day and 160g of it is from a supplement source? Uh-oh......"

Like I said before I'm 130 pounds and from what I've heard 1-1.5 grams of protein per lbs of body weight is suffecient (sp?). Why would I need 260+ grams of protein. I want my muscles to use the protein to grow, but I'm not trying to use it as fuel for my body, thats the main purpose of carbs in my opinion. I'm trying to gain muscle mass and I know that along with that there will be some fat. I lift heavy and I've even gotten rid of my training split. I go by how my body feels. Sometimes its 2 on 1 off, 3 on 1 off., etc....it all depends. I've never really gone heavy before and I definetly can tell a difference, but I still have the appetite of a bird :(
Anyways, thanks for all the help guys and gals!

oops

I wrote it wrong or you mis-read it spats. I eat around 160 grams of protein a day but usually never more than 200. about 75 grams of that is a protein shake. then the rest is food. It's taking my body time to get use to all this protein. My tummy is forever upset and gassy (tmi) :)

I'm taking Nito Tech with chocolate soy milk. And I take Cell Tech as far as creatine goes. I guess I'm a walking advertisement for Muscle Tech. I like the way they taste.

5G of creatine. I take half the serving size. I figure 10g is for a guy, and a friend of mine that's also on this board told me 5g is enough for a female. Whadda ya think?

Make sure your chocolate soy milk is not filled w/ sugar..I saw a friend of mine drinking that stuff and it had like 17grams of sugar in it!!! Midas well drink regular chocolate milk. Red meat is not bad for you, if you eat lean red meat. You could eat it a few times a week w/ no problem. I would just have your cholestrol checked regularly, but if you eat clean and healthy along w/ strength training and some cardiovascular work you would not be harming yourself. You can get beef 96% lean..I usually get between 90-96% lean..eat a 4-5oz piece..that is not a lot of beef..just making suggestions, dont want you to miss out:) Creatine I take 5mgs before I workout and 5mgs after.

Thanks New@, So 10g of creatine is not too much as long as it's split up? I know I may be hindering myself by not eating read meat, but I don't see myself ever eating it again. As far as the soy milk, it does have sugar, I drink it because it does not have any saturated fat, and i cant find skim or low fat dairy milk that is chocolate. Plus all that milk was making my stomach worse than it already is. Thanks for the help
