I used to have low fat skin milk for my protien shakes but I just recently find out that it was bad for you but I have a hard time drinking just water with them. I just can't. Any other stuff I can take with Protien shakes? I don't have much time looking through the board for this so thanks.

Unless your cutting, there is no reason not to use milk unless you're lactose intolerant.

You can flavor it with fruit, crystal light, etc. Just don't add any more extra calories than you think you can handle. Of course if it's your post workout drink you want the carbs then anyway so why not use milk if you want.

If you can just eat something instead of the shake. Also, what kind of protein powder do you have? Optimum Nutritions Vanilla Ice Cream with water tastes the best imho, but mixed with non-fat milk it tastes just like ice cream.

I just use low fat milk. I do it after my workout.. I guess i figure if you have a decent diet and you are working out hardcore and doing some nice cardio i dont see why a few oz of milk with a shake would hurt unless you are preparing for a show and you want dangerously low bodyfat levels.
