What to eat in the AM?

Im cutting right now...before bed i take in 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (2%) w/peanuts...when i wake up..im starving....i usually dont eat untill i get to work at 730 and i get up at 530am, but i know im doing more harm then good...so once i wake up ...what do you guys suggest? shake? 100% whole wheat bread w/ALPB? something quick..when i get to work i have breafkast.
 
Are you doing anything in the morning such as cardio?? Or just getting up & getting ready then going to work??

Right now...just get up and go to work...starting next week...am cardio
 
Well then, for now, you could eat something small right when you get up - such as the hard boiled eggs - then have something different when you're at work.

When you start your cardio then have a shake right after the cardio session....

I've been having oats in the morning since a year now... :worried:

Tried all combinations of it though: with protein powder, without it, with flaxseeds, witth flax oil...

my favorite (as a measure of convenience and taste) are simply, oats, skimmed milk, flaxseed

tastes like stracciatella ice cream
 
You are cutting bro.........you don't want to mix carbs and fat in the same meal........I've come to realize this and my gains have been extraordinary.......have a shake, have some egg whites.........In the am, I go 50g pro, 40-50g carbs, 3g fats....bulking I jump it to 80-100gg of carbs, but I always do some sort of cardio first........
